How to build inning
In Cricket specially in Test match, building an inning is an art. Most players starts well during batting, play good shorts and make 15-20 runs easily. However, problem starts after that, when most of the players throws their wicket by playing wrong shorts and unable to build their inning. Great player converts those 15-20 runs to a big century.
Now I want to relate above example with Affiliate Marketing. I am facing a serious problem so wanted to share with everyone. I starts campaign with xyz offer, get few conversions. Tries to optimize my campaign by applying all the methods provided by our great masters in tutorials. Even many times my account managers suggests that "Rajiv you are doing good. Can you scale." Then while trying to scale, I loose the track.
After a good start I am unable to scale well and my campaigns ends up with loss. It would be great if anyone can share their experiences of how to tackle these kind of situations and how to learn this art
Excellent analogy
Look forward to hearing anyone's advice-
Whenever I will get some exposure, I will complete this thread
It's very important to check WHERE exactly you see yourself losing.
Are your cost growing fast when scaling, your ads/creatives are probably too weak/milked out. Perhaps your competitors do way better?
Are your cost still the same, but you see CTR of lander going down? You probably get shitty traffic or the prelander is milked out. Try other placements/traffic soures for example and test multiple landers.
Are the cost and CTR the same, but conversion rates are bad? Try to test similar offers. Also check very well if everything on advertiser side works well. Also it could you get shitty traffic again.
I am not sure all things apply to your current funnel, but in general 1)cost 2)prelander 3)conversion rates of campaign are the three most important things to analyze thoroughly and which are quite simple in general to point out and solve.
Kindly put some more details in front of us to get some better suggestions.

I was running 3 campaigns on TJ.
Campaign 1 - DE, SOI Offer, Mobile Adult Dating
Campaign 2 - SE, DOI Offer, Mobile Adult Dating
Campaign 3 - FI, SOI + DOI Offers, Mobile Adult Dating
If I take an example of Sweden, I started getting conversions from day one. Then I started optimization like cutting placements, changing/updating landers, changing different banners, changing creatives, tried different offers as well. But results were not consistent. In last 6 months, I might have spent 4000 to 5000 dollars only on TJ but did not get ROI in positive for any of the campaign.
Now I decided to stop TJ for some time. And trying to move to exoclick. But definitely will come back to TJ again as I see potential in it
It's been a few years since I last ran adult on TJ, but I had similar experience as you. Exoclick definitely treated me better.
But heck, Exoclick's RON can burn money! I summarized some of my experiences here in this old post:
