Hello,

In Amy's tutorial, game and video offers were direct linked. I am wondering if these offers would work better with an LP. I can't find many LPs of these types of offers on Adplexity so I'm guessing that these types of offers are mostly just direct linked as they just work better direct linked. Am I correct in my thinking?

You're right in your observation that not many landers can be found on Adplexity for these types of offers.

For the most part, people are either direct-linking, or using blackhat tactics such as iframing/clickjacking, which require completely different landers altogether.

And then there are affiliates that ARE using landers, but have figured out how to keep them out of spy tools - which is why we don't see those on Adplexity.

It won't be easy: Because these type of offers are already designed to convert (i.e. visitors are only required to click the "subscribe" button), it would take a REALLY good lander to make the offer convert better than when it's direct-linked. (Landers are a double-edged sword - on the one hand they require visitors to click through one more element, but on the other hand they can pre-sell the visitor adequately such that when they get to the offer page they'd be much more likely to convert.)

For this kind of offers I use Adult LPs for games, because in POP 50%+ of traffic is adult. So it’s like “Do you want to play with me?” And photo of sexy girl

If we talk about videos I use LPs (tubes design) and text like “WHOOO! What this girl is doing???”

And it really works

Another gold nugget from mrbraun! I knew gaming offers can convert well on adult traffic, but never thought to try adult landers.

Word of caution: Many non-adult mobile gaming offers do not accept adult traffic, I believe it's because retention rate is lower. So if you run adult traffic to gaming offers, be sure to check with your AM on lead quality before scaling (which is always a good thing to do anyway, but especially important in cases like this).

So adplexity is becoming less useful? Because those who are savvy enough to hide from Adplexity are probably the best affiliates out there?

The most valuable information a spy tool can provide is the offer+targeting(sources, providers, etc), so using such services only to rip landers is a bit of an under-use.

That statement may be true, but only partially.

Also: In order to make money, you don't need to be the top affiliate, you only need to be better than some of the other affiliates so you can make better profit margins and afford to bid higher for traffic.

Moreover: Not all big affiliates are cloaking or using blackhat tactics. I know plenty of affiliates that are making money hand over fist by running whitehat.

Lastly: Direct carrier billing offers aren't the only type of offers around.

Nowadays on AdPlexity it is almost impossible to find offers, too...
Since hiding has become really popular and easy as oneclick in tracking services everyone is hiding everything even beginners...
