eCommerce of FB .. Losing Faith , Got a minute to help?
Hello STMers ,
I started running ads to my store 2 months ago .
I do 20$/day 3 adsets per product for 1 day.
AutoBid, Broad Audiences 1M+ , WW minus Asia Africa , English Speaking.
General store , well segmented categories.Email Marketing and all set up , just FB traffic not converting consistently
got some sales here and there , nothing consistent
Traffic not converting means Landing page don't work.
That's not the case , organic conversions come in almost daily. i Accidentally did SEO right , lol.
Paid traffic , can't make work.
Unable to scale a single winning campaign till date.
UNABLE to see the correlation between efforts and rewards
I am left with $5k of my budget to make this work.
Really kinda Desperate to make it happen. Can't stress this enough.
I am willing to commit 1000% to make eCommerce work.WILLING TO DO WHATEVER IT TAKES.
All advice to get to a profitable stage is more appreciated than you know.
I am losing faith in the process and really don't want that to happen.
Just NEED DIRECTION where to put in the hard work.
Just looking for a little mentorship , and some actionable steps/Strategy i can take to make Ali Dropshipping PROFITABLE on FB.
Do i need to look into other things in 2018 .
Possible steps 2018 - Influencer Marketing = Run better Fb Audiences , Google Shopping , Upsell Bundles , Physical Product Funnels , Snap Ads maybe.
Cheers

well, I hear ya. i started about the same time defintely can relate. here are my thoughts.
a) Are other people making money doing the same thing on the same traffic source right now?
I asked the folks here, and the answer is yes, and these folks doesn't appear to have any secret source other than having a team, and manybe know manual bidding better.
b) what are the variables need to test for this traffic souce?
for dropshipping, it's pretty simple really, you have 1. product, 2. audience, and 3. facebook algo.
So it's really just a matter of hitting the right combo of these 3.
So, the question becomes -
How many products did you test?
How do you select what product to test?
how are you testing out these products?

arjunkaul - one suggestion: Browse some of the other ecommerce follow-alongs to get some tips, for example cawovt's:
https://stmforum.com/forum/showthrea...-General-Store
Another member reported having good results with Google Shopping so yes that may be worthy to try:
https://stmforum.com/forum/showthrea...s-with-shopify
And your other suggestions are all worth a test IMO:
Influencer Marketing = Run better Fb Audiences , Google Shopping , Upsell Bundles , Physical Product Funnels , Snap Ads maybe.
Creating sales funnels to maximize LTV of your customers is always a good method, and it can pay off huge as your customer list grows.
Also - this may or may not be obvious, but have you considered just doing more SEO to build up profits? If your site is gaining traction in the search engines, just keep adding more products and doing better on-site and off-site SEO may be the better approach. It would be easier to spend money on ads when you have more profits coming in.

I want to disagree with your answer for "b)". It's a lot more than just hitting the right combo with FB algo. However, FB's algo definitely helps a lot in getting $10 ROAS
You should focus on your customer's experience as a whole. What they see, what motivates them, and how they should be converting (where/when). Personally, I've developed something I call an EMSE (Engaged Mobile Shopping Experience) that expedites the conversion to sometimes around 55 seconds. That's one of my angles, as well as many others. Overall, put yourself in the customer's shoes throughout the whole experience.

^^^This may seem deceivingly obvious, but I've seen too many businesses (both online and off) neglect to do this, and often the results are less-than-ideal.
On the other hand, I've seen businesses that DO make customer experience a top priority, and the rewards they're reaping.
A positive experience will not only make it more likely for the potential customer to make the initial purchase, but will have direct influence on whether s/he would buy again from the same store/website, and also whether s/he would refer other people to do the same.
Some smart businesses would even sacrifice short-term gains to acquire loyal customers. For example price the initial product low, to the point where they sustain a loss. They are willing to do that to get customers into the sales funnel, in order to be able to sell to them again and again. The initial loss is justified as long as the life-time value of a customer comes out positive.
On the flipside, I've seen businesses that are out to prey on every potential customer to squeeze as much money as they can get away with, before moving onto the next potential customer. Even if the target audience size is large enough to withstand the churning and burning, the profits that can be made from the initial sale is often limited (unless you're running a scam operation).
And, with so much competition in the ecommerce space these days, it's becoming increasing important to build a funnel to maximize the life-time value of each customer, instead of trying to maximize profits of the initial sale.
Lastly, providing good user experience aligns with Facebook's goals as well! Keep doing this, and FB will reward you - truly a win-win-win for all.
