got my first 2 conversions - i think?!

hello stackers,

so I ran a pop campaign with all of the help from the wonderful moderators and members of this forum.

I have my first 2 conversions

I just want to know what you would recommend I do next.

should I narrow it down to mobile or what?

Voluum is great but i don't know what is the most important information.

thanks for the advice. i know this is a joke to many but it is my happiest day of my life.

Hey John

2 conversions is not much, but don't worry, we all remember what it felt like to see the first one

I'd like to ask one thing, I see there are both visits and clicks in the stats, so that would imply the use of a landing page ... but the amount of clicks is extremely low compared to the visits. Is this a directlinked campaign and somehow there a few clicks, or is the LP(s) really performing that poor?

I’m using a landing page. I thought I would narrow it down to mobile and not web. Any thoughts on next steps? thanks

Congrats on the 1st conversions! What a milestone!

You'll need to look at desktop and mobile separately, to assess 2 things for each:

1)What the current ROI is.

2)How much room there is to optimize towards your target ROI (I would recommend at least 30% to cover expenses and pay yourself).

And the main thing to decide is whether you are confident you can optimize the campaign from the current ROI to your target ROI. If so, keep running and optimizing. If not, try another geo or vertical (i.e. offer type).

And in order to make this decision, you'll need some experience!

Please give us more details in order for us to give you more detailed guidance:

1)I can see the payout for mobile. Is the payout for desktop the same or different? If different, what's the payout?

2)Which country are you running in?

3)Which vertical is this (i.e. type of offer)? What is the conversion flow/goal? If unsure please ask your AM.

4)How/where did you find your landing page? How many landing pages are you testing or have to tested?

5)Which traffic source are you running on?

6)How many similar offers have you tested, that are in the same vertical and geo?

Let's start with these and we'll go from there!

I think you need to check your Landing Page, the CTRs you are seeing are close to 0% that's not good. Are you sure it's configured properly? I see like 0.3% with the highest trafficked target you have there, that's VERY low.

Are you running just one LP? I'd strongly recommend to test some more.

Holy smokes I COMPLETELY didn't catch the low CTRs! Good eye matuloo!

To john anthony: Of the 11 clicks that DID make it to the offer page, 2 converted! This is VERY good conversion rate for an offer page! So, DO take matuloo's suggestion and test a few landers right away. Make sure they display and function well on both desktop and mobile (check browserstack to make sure they display well in all major devices and browsers). Click around on your lander on both desktop and mobile to make sure everything functions as intended. Optimize the landers for speed to make sure they load under 2s on mobile (preferably under 1s).

That CTR HAS to go up for that offer to have a chance! 2/11 offer page views have converted. Think what this campaign could be doing if you could increase the CTR ten-fold or more!

You're welcome!

Report back with the result once you are done checking the LP, I doubt it's working fine, the CTRs are toooooo low

This is tremendous progress you're making, and in such a short amount of time too!

You have every reason to be proud!

And of course you're right - it's not necessary to get everything "right" the first time. In fact, it's the fear of doing something "wrong" that drives many people to inaction.

Just get started and adjust - which is what you're doing.

Thailand is a great geo - lots of traffic volume, relatively lower cost and higher conversion rates with the right offers. Talk to more AMs and/or search on Adplexity to find more TH iphone 8 sweeps offers, and rip 4 more landers that have gotten a ton of traffic and appear on adplexity more than a few times (i.e. "tried and tested" and more likely to convert well). Spend time fixing them up and testing them to make sure they 1)function properly, 2)display correct in all major devices and browsers, 3)load fast.

TH is one of my favorite geos - looking forward to seeing your results!
