Hey Guys,
I'm having some trouble deciding on what move to make...
I have not found any specific thread or replies aimed towards newbies specifically about Whether to proceed in learning AM with pops right now - and I'm sure many new members are asking this question as well -
Considering ALL previous STM content points newbies to this direction, it would be great to update or at least give some advice on the 2018 Fundamental Steps for newbies.
Are Pops/Redirects/PPV Still recommended for newbies to start? - Even Though these traffic sources are going to be flipped upside down.
What is the latest advice for newbs? - what are some "safe routes" to take ... etc?
Buying into services and setting up for this takes time and money, and I'm sure all the new guys are scratching their heads about what to do...
Personally - I figure there is 3 weeks left to play in the space and try to make something happen. Lot's of time to launch campaigns and complete tutorials...
On the other hand, I haven't bought Adplexity mobile or Invested more than "can be taken back"... It would be great to get leadership to weigh in on what we should do going forward, since we rely on them to point us in the right direction..
I still believe pop to be the easiest way to get one's foot in the affiliate marketing door, and still strongly recommend for newbies to expand into other traffic types as soon as they have some experience with tracking and landers and offers and analyzing stats and optimizing campaigns.
Nobody knows what will happen after the chrome ad-blocker is updated. But it really won't hurt to run pop for a few weeks as a learning experience. It's like starting from grade 1 and progressing to the higher grades later on - it makes things easier.
Or, you could just skip grade 1 (pop) and start at grade 3 say (facebook for example) - the learning curve would be steeper and you may need to spend more money to get the hang of things, but with perseverance you can master any traffic type. Some people need to see results right away, in the form of conversions, in order to stay motivated - for those, starting with pop would be better.
