beyond hosting with (1) new prosper 202 or (2) cpvlab (12)
i am finally fed up with LW. going with beyond (http://stmforum.com/forum/showthread...Hosting-50-OFF) and since I am going to start fresh with a new server, might as well go with the most recommended tracking system too (i was using another tracking system but i want better and easier reporting)...
been hearing some things about cpvlab that is making me wonder if I should go ahead with the purchase or go with the new p202?

might be important --> traffic source will be ppv until profitable... then move on to fb.

I use a Prosper202 setup with Beyond and I'm pretty happy with it. I've never used CPVLab though.
I heart them both. But since you are just starting out I would keep my costs down and go with prosper202.

i will be continuing my "do or die" follow along, as well as starting other campaigns with the new tracking... after really looking at cpvlab, now i see how helpful cpvlab tracking "landing page sequence" option (http://cpvlab.com/forusers/info/CPV_...ign_Charts.pdf) would have been for my initial setup.
should have gone straight for cpvlab or prosper right away for tracking solutions. oh well... live and learn.
@mr green, i have already budgeted for investing in a tracking system. so aside from keeping costs down, still p202?

I run most of my traffic from Facebook and I'm interested in if anyone thinks CPVLab is better than P202 for Facebook.
I wouldn't mind spending the money to switch over if someone told me it was worth it and why.
i hate cpvlab... both are equally good as for tracking in my opinion.. but cpvlab just looks ugly and the campaigns are hard to keep organized..
+1 for CPVLAB...it make split testing almost fun!
And Roberts support (even on sunday) is great!

id say start with 202 with some of the custom addons to allow rotation of landing pages.
in the long run would be awesome to just write the tracking for yourself.
Why?
It fits perfactly for your needs, get all what YOU want. 0 overhead and you can trust the code for like 100%. Plus you will not be affected by any exploit that might appear. OLOLOLOL $_$ tracking202 exploits
Another nice benefit from that is you keep thinking about new stuff to ad that helps you rather then build your stuff around it.
How about?
- POF / Facebook / etc AD Uploader
- Tracking all the Stats + Redirecting all the stuff like YOU want (1 space where you are able to manage all your traffic from every add on every landingpage)
- Embed Scraper / Spy + Auto remake ADs
- Automate AD stuff (10k Impressions and below 0.1 ctr? => disable the AD and make a new one go up)
So many fun stuff you can do
But then again need the skills and time to do it. I am doing that for me atm as i grow. So i am doing POF and start by making a class just to handle all the POF stuff (AD creating, Bidding, Pausing ...) that way my stuff grows with what i am doing.
Have seen plenty of ppl with custom made systems, some of them are better then others though but they almost all are better then the available systems in the market.
Yo can we get a complete tutorial on how to setup tracking properly I mean from start to finish and maybe video lol. There are few step that seem a lil bit confusing but I'll keep digging.
