How to spy when you are low on budget!

Hey guys,

I am new here. So whats up!
So I spent a lot of time reading today in STM, so that i can create a gameplan for the next time i launch.

The process looks applicable even now although its an old thread, and I am going to use it.
But I dont have a spy tool. Currently I am using VPN to spy, which is great but you dont really know if its a good lander/banner compared to using a spy tool.

The thread i mentioned talks about a SPY tool named STM-SPY. But I dont see it anymore.
Another option I have is Adplexicity but I cant afford that. $99 a month for this forum is already adding to my fixed cost along with the tracker, server, rent, VPN .etc so I cant add more.

Do you guys have any other free resources to SPY adult ads and landers? Any recommendations?

I will be comfortable with investing another $145..... hopefully once I am $100 a day in profits

If I can add one more post without making a new thread.... which websites do you recommend to get nice, reachable, believable, fuckable ladies for my banners?
I already know amateurgfpics.net and thechive.com. A few others will be nice to have in my arsenal because I am laser focusing on ads this week or two. Landing page comes next.

Hello,

adult is one of those areas where it's quite easy to spy manually. All you need is a VPN and some agent emulator plugin for you browser, so you can spy on mobile traffic too. Then just go to the TOP websites that pretty much EVERYONE is targeting and check out what is rotating in the top spots - mostly NTV banner spots on sites like xhamster, pornhub, youporn, xvideos ...

Of course it's not gonna work 100%, some networks block the most known VPNs, sometimes the GEO location will simply fail ... so using a spytool is a better idea, I'm using adplexity too. I would definitely consider paying for, even if it's just for one month - that would give you plenty of time to stack a ton of banners and LPs for the coming months.

Woah yeah, it makes sense to get Adplexity for a month and stack a ton of banners for the coming months.
For now I am spying using VPN in top tubesites.

Btw @matuloo I have read a ton of your guides today, and briefly checked out your website too. Very helpful, although i had to stop reading because at some point my brain got fried due to information.

Yup, spying on tubes is good enough for the start, but still, spytool can provide you with more banners that you won't find otherwise. It's an awesome source of inspiration - do not forget to modify the banners at least a bit, do not rely just on copying others.

I'm glad that you appreciate the stuff I publish, and I understand it can get overwhelming at times ... the best is to combine reading with actually testing stuff out yourself, that works the best.

Btw since you are here, do you recommend using a frequency cap of 1,2 or 3 in TJ campaigns when you start it?
I found that starting at 3 made profits when i recently started a good performance geo.
But in others it was not working as good as starting at 1. But the data does not appear very concrete to make a choice yet.

What do you think?

Cap 1 will pretty much always result in the cheapest clicks, because the CTR will be the highest ... there are exceptions of course, but usually it's the case. So when starting out, it's the best to stick to CAP 1/24 or 1/12 on EVERY network. It's also true that on TJ, the CTR drop when going for a higher CAP, isn't that bad as on exoclick for example. So starting with 2 or even 3 is still a good idea.

Generally speaking - start with 1-2 then increase in order to get more traffic, once you have a solid funnel.

Thanks! So my initial assumption was nearly right i think. Start at 1/2 and then scale to 3 or more depending on how good the funnel is.
