[Afflow] Why does this happen? Bot traffic under WiFi?
Hi,
I tried to drive traffic to a WiFi campaign on Afflow targeting only one offer (not paused or capped).
This is how much visits I drove to the offer on two traffic sources.

This is how much clicks shown on Afflow Aggregated data. 1997 clicks in total (already adjusted timezone).

I checked bot traffic in "League" Tab. Less than 100 clicks. Where have all my clicks gone?
So was I buying bots? how do I know if the traffic is bot-plagued?
Thanks!

Hi!
Usually Wifi shows worse performance also due to the fast that the flow till conversion is not that simple.
But to know if it's bot traffic or not, you need to pay attention to your CTR.
Check Matuloo's article here
There is another thread about it here - https://stmforum.com/forum/showthrea...ghlight=detect
Hope it helps!

Caurmen is worrking on a new bot detection article, it will be posted soon and contains a very good method to use
In the meantime, here is an older post from him : https://stmforum.com/forum/showthrea...n-Any-Campaign
EDIT : just notices it's been posted already : https://stmforum.com/forum/showthrea...Live-Campaigns
On a side note, the Voluum screenshot shows 1180 + 497 visits which is actually less than 1997 that afflow recorded for you, so what's the problem actually?

1997 is aggregated data, so total clicks for everyone that has sent traffic to it. It has been around the same number for the past 30 days. So if yesterday I started to send 1000+ clicks to it, there should have been way more clicks on aggregated data right? Guess my clicks were bots and got filtered out. But I'm not sure.
Thanks

Not really an expert when it comes to afflow stats, so don't want to make guesses here. But wifi mobile is known for large amount of BOTs, so it wouldn't surprise me one bit.
