I would like to hear from people who have made this journey in before of me - where they stand today, how useful the guide was for them and whether they see results - and what are the results? I want to understand the level of potential existing there. Please help me understand this.
I really like this forum - and I wish for the day I could give you value back .
Thanks
Yohai .

Read that entire thread and expect to put in similar effort if you want to be successful with pops.
Yes, it's still totally doable these days.
The competition is higher but obviously it's high because there is money to be made.

Start a follow along as bbrock suggested. Make the goal of your first few campaigns to simply learn about proper tracking and optimization. If you decide pops aren't for you, you'll still learn some valuable lessons that you can apply to other campaigns in the future.

If you seek success on pops be sure to build a whitelist and then test different offers on that whitelist, and that whitelist only.
I'll remember that - thank you
