What Tracking Platform is best that doesn't require an Affiliate Network? (5)

Hi guys,

Jon here, brand new to the forum!

My previous business partners want me to build Facebook campaigns for their offers directly and they plan on compensating me as an affiliate for any sales I make.

They do not currently have an affiliate program set up and I'm wondering if Voluum would suffice as the tracking platform.

Can you track sales, clicks, upsells etc without a entering a Affiliate Network in Voluum?

Since I'll be working with them exclusively, (not through a network) I want to know what the best tracking solution would be.

Their current cart system is Ultracart & Shopify.

I'm brand new to the affiliate tracking area and would greatly appreciate some direction on this!

Any affiliate tracker can technically do the job for you. Unless it's a branded tracker like the Mobidea tracker that they launched recently - that one is built to work with their offers only.

The affiliate network that you enter in Voluum is just a "name", it's there to help you stay organized, when it comes to offers. It's not like you need to use only certain already existing networks - you can simply come up with any name and use it. And it's the same with all trackers basically.

Your upselling sequence might require special features though, depending on how complicated it would be ... try to look at Funnel Flux too, it's pretty good at building advanced funnels.

I'm personally not a hardcore funnel flux user, but since it's part of the STM ventures I've talked with the guys who are working on it and I know it's a good product. One of the senior admins of STM forum - zeno - is actually leading that team now So if you ever decide to go with funnel flux, you will get prompt support, even right here on the forum.

As matuloo said, almost any tracker can do what you're looking for. I just wanted to add Affiliate Software as another suggestion since we put in a lot of work to keep up with the latest market trends. In case you decide to test the waters outside FB campaigns, it might be useful to have a tool with many other options, too.

The platform its very easy to use and supports all the features that you have mentioned previously (track sales, clicks, up-sells etc. without entering an affiliate network), plus a dozen of other options (for example, dedicated Affiliate GUI where all the Affiliates can see their data, check offers, analyze reports etc which is very important for affiliate programs).
