New to Facebook Ads (Help)

I'm pretty sure someone already answered this already, but is there a way to START off with a low CPC on Facebook ?

I already did some targeting, and it lowered the price, but i want to know if there was a "secret way" (lol) to lower the prices even more.

I am currently at .82

I want to get down to .60

Help would be very much appreciated.

Get good CTR's (atleast .3~) and the low prices come organically. Getting good CTR's takes a combination of things. You should search for threads pertaining to creating high CTR images/ads, particularly on facebook.

The starting BID you are suggested depends on demo size and nature as well as your account history. Note that if you use broad age match then the cost for clicks from users outside of your age range will be discounted slightly, so I guess that's one way to get slightly cheaper clicks, albeit probably not many. If you have a decent CTR your actual CPC will drop well below your BID very quickly.

Say if you had an ad that pulled a 0.200% CTR straight off the bat. Your bid is $0.85.
The first few clicks may cost $0.84 - $0.77 - $0.69 - $0.55 - $0.39 - $0.27 - $0.26 - $0.25 - $0.25 - $0.25 - $0.24 - $0.24..... etc.

The advert CTRs is what really matters. The starting bids just dictate the ballpark costs for your first clicks (and future ones on crappy ads which you may kill off).
