Hi Avazu rep,
I'm trying to get Avazu to pay, all the leads are legit and i even went to meet them in their booth and said they will look into it.
We changed manager multiple times and it has been almost half a year and after we came back. we still can get no one.
Is there any avazu rep here?
I was in this same position, they owed me around $6k and they said I need to push more traffic before they can pay me.
I thought that was pretty funny....Anyways, eventually I randomly got paid...it was about 2 months late though
I am also in the same situation. they are not paying me from the last 3 months. They owed me around $2416.
My account manager is not coming online in skype and even i emailed them couple of times, but no response. i even met them at Affiliate world Asia Conference and
asked the same and they were saying, the accounting department and they are different and i have to contact them directly. I think affiliates should skip Avazu Network.
While I am not trying to excuse Avazu, or networks in general for not paying, and since we've also faced this issue several times, I just want to chime in with some, hopefully useful, advice.
First off, you have to understand that you are generally not in a position of power and you cannot negotiate much, especially with relatively low numbers. That doesn't mean that you cannot try to push the right buttons for increasing the chances of getting paid.
Number one thing is to stay professional, and present your case objectively, both in private to your contacts and in a more public setting like STM. Next, make sure that it's consistent between all the people you talk to about the issue, whether from the network in question or not. You should try to understand what the account manager means between the lines... Don't forget they are just a messenger, so you have to think deeper... What are the office politics in an affiliate network? Who decides? Is the AM is on your side, whose buttons can they push to make a case for you internally? Why didn't you get paid? Is Avazu's fault, or is it the advertiser's fault? Get them to be a good representative for you in front of the advertiser, if that's what you need.
It's far more complicated than "They didn't pay, blame the account manager". If you have a negative attitude personally towards the account manager, they will certainly try to avoid you, especially if you have close to no leverage.
Hopefully someone from Avazu or who is closer to them can chime in specifically for you.
Cheers,
Manu.
Was this ever resolved? If not, have you told Avazu about this post and asked them to chime in?
There is indeed Avazu representation here on STM. These user accounts both have recent "last activity" dates. Perhaps try leaving them a PM?

I totally agree with Manu. But for me it's pretty difficult after 3 or 4 monthes of moneyhold.
Yea, someone contacted me and we clear the bill. 50k is a huge sum. I pray all will have their issue solved too. Thanks Everybody for your stories and advice. Definitely, humbling myself and learning more in this journey.
+1
Not paying and not respond! Be careful with them!
