VPS to Dedicated? for PPV (4)

VPS to Dedicated? for PPV

So when do you upgrade from the most basic Beyond Hosting package and to what? Another words, how many hits per day is max should I consider going to a speedier VPS or maybe dedicated server?

I would like to know this too. I just started back in PPV and got the Prosper202 -VPS1024CAM. Is it too much for those just starting out?

Basic VPS is fine when your starting.

When start to push 50k+ pops to your server, start looking at the next level up. Most VPS should be able to deal with 100k visits per day. Beyond's VPS guarentee they can cope with 100k.

Well, they can upgrade/downgrade you instantly so I would go for the most basic package and upgrade when needed. I guess you should be able to monitor the server load and upgrade if and when required. You could also ask BH to have a look at the server load and advise whether an upgrade would be of benefit. These guys know the game so they should be able to tell you straight up.
