Any tips for running coupon offers on MSN

I just put up a search campaign with a few hundred keywords. Wondering if anyone is having success with coupon toolbar type offers on search?

No, but only because Groupon and the likes don't allow search.

I've had success with a coupon-like offer in the past.

Bid on very generic keywords, bid high and have a big budget. No one really bids on broad and generic keywords which can be very cheap and very lucrative.

I was bidding on "baby names" and a few variations - decent volume with no real competition

Also: use their keyword tool.

are you direct linking the toolbar? msn might go down on you if they find you out/ you run the campaign for a while... i dont think they allow those downloads...

the problem is relevant traffic.....yes the allow almost anything.....but that damn fucking QS kills imps if your page has a low score NOT just your ads.....

thats the biggest issue I ran into....

You are right polar they allow just about anything that is what is soooo refreshing from adwords. I am direct linking. I will start with the big words and see if it is even worth pursuing.

Getting your QS up on MSN is pretty easy. You can keyword stuff (even #fff on a white background) and the bot will eat it up.
