Create your own offer? (17)

Create your own offer?

Has anyone here created their own offer?

I am in contact with someone who is running their own mobile CPA offer, and he is making a sh** load of money while sitting on his backside, letting affiliates drive traffic to it.

This got me thinking that I should run my own email submit offer.

Has anyone got their own email submit offer they are running? What is necessary to make this email submit offer live?

Take a look at the co-reg section. Very possible to get started running your email submit. I'd test your lander many times before letting others run it(and with a sufficient budget to pay them as well).

It's not the landing page I am worried about.

It's about making the offer make money for me. How exactly do I do that?

For mobile offers you need to Google "reverse sms billing".
Just watch out for countries that require confirmation (double-optin) before the $1.50 or whatever is charged.
Typically the mobile providers take around 60% commission on amounts billed when sending SMS.

Hey man,

Looking at your sig, why don't you start a hosting CPA offer, actually pay out an take all of hostgators business?

If you already have experience in the vertical, leverage it!

Has anyone had any experience with a company that does Premium SMS / Reverse Billing? Would be good to know a good company to approach.

Do you mean you know someone running a pin submit mobile offer like ringtones/quiz, or they are running an email submit/form submit that is wap/mob formatted?

I did some research on this.

This seems to be the best.
http://www.txtnation.com/

The sales guy was very prompt and helpful in every email reply too.
The downside is that the outpayment period (meaning how long they take to pay you the revenue you earned) depends on which country you're looking to market in.

The country I was looking to target had a 4 month outpayment period.

Totally turned me off.

What's funny is that they tell you "Once you got your first payment, you get them monthly."

Yeah right, of course you do, but it's still slow by 4 freakin months!

Another company I researched was even more ridiculous. They said I won't be able to know how much money I earned until they pay me.

Haha yeah that's really confidence inspiring!

I did some more research on this today. Apparently getting an SMS short code set up can cost around 500-1k per month, and you have to pay this right from the start even though your campaign might not be up and running with all of the carriers for 4 months. Also, the carriers can drop your campaign at anytime if they want.

What was txtNation like for costs?

also a key point to consider here when looking at the green on the other side of the road.....

carriers can fine you HEAVILY if your doing stuff you shouldn't....the risk there is pretty huge I have been told fines start at the 250k range......all it takes is one bad aff running your shit.....and you could get cleaned out pretty quick....if your not careful.....short codes go down all the time due to this....up in CA a bunch just went down and the company that was running them got hit pretty hard I heard.....

food for thought.....seek legal advice....

twilio can help you get shortcodes for $3k for 3 months. $4.5k for a vanity shortcode for 3 months.
They then help you send your application to the carriers to review, which might take 8-12 weeks.

So, basically you're paying $3k without even knowing if you'll get approved for a shortcode or not.

txtnation lets you use their shared shortcode. If I remember correctly, it's like GBP285 to setup, then GBP35 per month.

It will always take 3-4 months to get you your payment. You also get only about 48% of the billable amount, which means it's going to be months down the road, probably a year, before you turn profitable. And it's always a gamble with the necessary non-compliant landing pages...

or just create an e-course that no one else has done... give affiliate 50%-70% commission as motivation to drive sales.

https://www.impulsepay.com/ looks more promising

But back to email submits:

Anyone know how to make a profit from an email?

"anyone know how to make a profit from an email"

Haha that is a pretty broad question. The best advice I can give you is sign up for newsletters/email submit offers within your niche and see what people are sending out, how they are structuring their email copy, and what offers they are promoting.

I personally have an email address exclusively used for sign up for guru launches. They seem to have mailing on lock down. I try to pick up trends across all of them and learn from it.

Yes, I know how to make money from an email list... i guess i sounded like a complete idiot.

What i meant to say was the offers after a visitor submits their email address.

Would I just simply put other CPA offers so I end up in a profit?
