USE FB Lookalike Audience!! (1)
I had a audience that was converting beautifully, inevitably it slowed down after a couple of months to a point where new ads/angles were just not getting pushed out by FB anymore, I was struggling to get reach on that particular audience. So I gave "creating a lookalike audience a try"..my results? It instantly fixed my issue, reach sprung back to life, and after a few hours I got a good conversion rate going again.
So how did I create a lookalike Audience?
At ads manager click "tools--->pixels--->conversion tracking pixel"old"" to the right of the conversion tracking pixel click "action--->create lookalike audience" then follow the options.
NOTE: The bigger you create your lookalike audience the more diluted your audience will be
Correct me if I'm wrong but I think FB creates a lookalike audience based on similar people which visit your site and converts, this is golden to me as my niche is very specific and finding a different audience manually takes a lot of testing, so I just let FB do it for me
Now I have two different Audience saved for me to cycle every two weeks!
Just another thing, this of course will only work if you have set-up a conversion pixel on your website, also be advised it takes up to 24 hours for FB to gather up your audience before its ready to use.
