Anyone having success with this? Anyone have any tips to dominate this market? These could do really well on facebook I think.
Well, gaming is huge "niche". Some do VERY well on facebook.
Stackman wrote a great article here: http://stmforum.com/2010/12/21/stack...ng-game-leads/
I saw that post but most browser games require you to use in game images and stack says to go away from that. So I am confused on that part.
I've promoted browser games quite a bit and rarely use in-game images!
I only use in-game images which are "impossible".
ie: i'd show a Halo screenshot with a girl wearing the halo suit (minus the mask). Obviously photoshopped, but I've been using PS for 10 years so this is what i'm good at. These type of shots are great for CTR
Anyways the guide above is pretty thorough and honest.
Browser games are very popular on facebook, one of the biggest niches affiliates push.
Just to recap on some offer that are doing well ATM: (These are always changing by the way because new games come out all the time)
- Wizard101 (US)
- Rune of Magic (US, CA)
- Shaiya (INTL)
- Zoomumba
- War of Legends (AU, CA, UK, US)
Also if any of you are with C2M i know they're huge in the browser gaming niche and could offer up some promotion techniques, they have a lot of exclusive games.
I have pushed zoomumba in some country's , i was targeting other games and used that in my adcopy. example: offer used:zoomumba. I targeted farmerama, and my adcopy was something like: title: Fun playing farmerama? body: Well then you will love this new game zoomumba for sure! but watch out, its adictive. try now.
I used funny pics of zoo animals which gave me ctr around 0.3 0.7 even after 300 clicks.
this campaing was giving me 100% ROI, but traffic was low, campaing died after 1,5 week. I was in 10$ profit each day.
I have tried this angle by targeting lots of other games (farmville, cityville etc) but only the one targeting farmerama was profiting me.. i guess because the websites of farmerama and zoomumba has the same interface? i dont know...
Anyway, i really wanna foccus more on gaming again, but its hard for me to profit. And when i do, its when i laser target, which means low traffic in the cases i had so far..
i want big traffic, big moniez :P
That, i don't know. Like i said, those did not profit me, so i never kept them running... in that time i had no problems with copyright

Very cool idea. Definitely a small target group though, also a bit risky as nusolutionz mentioned, but with such little traffic it probably wouldn't matter. You have to go more broad with a similar idea to bank harder with browser games! Payouts are too small for such deep targeting.
Stack,
Im saying that the networks like Adotomi and Adsimilis are forcing you to use ingame images from their games not other games in order to run. You dont comply with those?
And no you cant use other facebook app names in your titles like Farmville and cityville they will find you and attempt to take you to court.
Well if you don't care about quality and just want short term money and be kicked off gaming campaigns. Just run any gaming ad with a gun image targeting 18-35 :P you will have nice CTR's
and Stack,
In regards to your halo screenshot, you get these approved to use by networks? or you just run em?
Ah thats why then :P
