What offers would you consider "safe" on Facebook? (10)

What offers would you consider "safe" on Facebook?

I'm sure I'm not the only one who wants to go as legit as possible with FB (if possible?!?). My history with them is not great (large scale download offers last year) and from what I've seen, they appear to be a lot stricter now, all in all, I'd rather not have to constantly worry about my account being banned!

What offers would you actually consider to be safe to run on FB?
.. or at least, the safest ones?

If you've already been banned (sorry to hear it) do you know what the final nail in the coffin was? From what I've seen so far quite a few bans seem to be related to the dating/flirt niche.

Well this is a good way to move. I'd say personally i'm definitely not 100% legit within the facebook rules, but i'm 200% better than i was 15 months ago. So it's definitely the right way to move because i havnt had any account issues in a VERY long time, and i get my ads approved 90% of the time now.

Yep, i'd say most recent bans that have been in large numbers was due to the benaughty/flirt dating apps!

There's so many 'safe' things to run on facebook, because theirs a million different kinds of offers, name a couple niches/offers your interested in and i'll let you know

Thanks for such a quick reply man, appreciate it. Wow, really? even the blood covered vampire ones? Well that's encouraging! What's your daily spend like with them these days? do you have a dedicated account manager yet?

IQ Quizes (mobile)/ Toolbar/Game Downloads/ Daily deal type offers
Which relates to Scamy Mobile offers / Dodge spyware / Email submits - None of which I think Facebook are too happy about?

On a slightly unrelated note, unless you've already decided against it, you should get the "thanks" add-on for VB, I've read through most of the forum tonight and have wanted to say thanks to a quite a few posts! (it's good for future reference too).

No i was saying benaughty/flirt apps are the ones that have caused major bans recently...

Mobile = Previously banned, now allowed back on if they're compliant, you'll get them approved 99% of the time if the INTL
Toolbars/Downloads = Banned, but not on facebook major alert list, easy to get by, and you probably won't be banned if caught running them the first time
Daily Deal = Allowed, but there setting up some restrcitions lately, certain words aren't allowed etc.. but overall there allowed and easy to get approved

Ahhh cool idea for the thanks thing, will do it forsure

I was never warned about toolbar before and I am pretty sure thats why I got banned so I think its beginning to creep up on the alert list.

I meant, so you don't see problems with getting the blood covered vampire ads approved? and wanted to know if/when you get a dedicated account manager, how they view affiliates (ie what offers are "acceptable"). I saw some people got one around 30k/m (I think) no doubt you've gone over that!

Thanks for that recap, looks like daily deals is the safest of the list for now, but with Facebook's plans for deals, something tells me they won't like them as much in a few months! Any other hot "niche" offers you'd say are easy to get through worth mentioning?

Cheers!

Yep, Facebook deals are giving me quite the scare as i'm pushing them quite heavily right now!

Here's some Q&A with a fb rep

Cheers, already read through that last night though (along with almost every other thread!)

I only mentioned the above offer types because I have made money with them in the past, of course I'd be interested in any that would be considered safe for the long term. Any ideas? The ones I've mentioned seem risky.

Anyone else got any ideas on what's "safe"?

Honestly, it can all be run as long as it's not in they're guidelines under 'not allowed'.

Test anything, if it gets disapproved twice, move on to whatever you feel good about next.
