On Estimated Reach, Impressions, Frequency and Clicks ...

Hey all,

I'm just curious. In the dating niche, say an ad have an estimated reach of 500k, how many impressions, what kind of frequency and how many clicks would the ad 'endure' typically?
i.e. how many clicks can I get out of a demographic like that?

For discussion's sake I'll put CTR at 0.2, since I haven't even been able to get 0.1 consistently.

Thanks in advance!
Ryan

dude you've made a lot of theoretical posts lately. don't put the cart before the horse. get your ads approved. when ctr starts to dip, switch in new images or optimally be switching in new images constantly so they help each other hedge off banner blindness.

that being said with a 500k demo you shouldn't be burning it out anytime soon.

Yea been over analytical and a little jumpy cause I can't get ads approved for 2 days + I think my offer went bad. Just sent 140+ clicks in and no conversion at all. My average conversion from those traffic is 15%. AM isn't on ....

Thanks for setting me straight though! That's what we're all here for. :-)

If I remember correctly stackman said he usually looks to pull in 5% clicks from demo total so in your case 25000 clicks. As for the frequency I forgot what he said

I've been noticing that my ROI drops a lot as I target more. The reasoning is the more targeted I get, the higher my freq. You'll need to find that happy medium for yourself.

check and see if WOT is RED or GREEN on your offer, tracking link and ad.

or post here or PM me and I will.

That is killing many campaigns now days and people dont even know it.

AVAST now is starting to make its way up the 'threat' ladder.

I don't think there is a hard and fast rule here....

I have had some ads last a long time on a smaller demo....it really depends on the ad...some start high and drop like a rock.....some start middle of the road then kinda drop slower and almost kinda steady out....

I think the more shocking images drop faster as the "shock" value drops off quick....

ads that have a more "pleasing to the eye" image seem to last longer.....

Hypothetical research is usually REEALLY bad and it won't work out ever as planned, but just for the sake of answering the question you can usually hit 5% if you run the campaign for a good length. Lots of the clicks are double clicks, and 20% of the reach number are inactive, fake or not often used facebook accounts.
