Clickbank as a Vendor - recommendations on software?

Hey all,

Anyone have experiences with and good recommendations for what software to use to handle product delivery / security as a clickbank vendor?

I'm looking at dlguard and a few others, but really would value your opinions.

Right now I don't have a membership option but I would like something versatile in case I add some in the future.

Thanks!

I use wishlist member, it works, but keep in mind if you have any upsells, wishlist wont work with them. Digital Access Pass is pretty versatile. Both are obviously membership solutions.

Ive used dlguard, and i really liked it actually for clickbank, even for membership stuff. Fyi, setup everything as a membership in dlguard, seems to work better. I went with wishlist eventually because i needed multiple membership levels, and used optimize press as my wp theme. Who knows i probably coulda done it all in dlguard, but im not the most tech saavy. Not sure if dlguard can do multi levels.

Memberwing is pretty sick and i think can use cb as a processor.

What are you trying to deliver? DLGuard is good for one off products. Have you looked at e-junkie?
aMember is an interesting beast - if you put CB in front of aMember then it's ok, but the more I've used it the more I think it's a piece of shit (version 3.x, can't speak to 4):
Horrible coding.
Passwords stored as plaintext?? WTF?
Passwords stored in session?? WTF?? IN PLAINTEXT????
Bad checkout flow (not relevant if you do cb before amember)
I can go on and on..

Thanks guys

Right now I'm just securing a single page but was interested in a membership model for a saas I'm creating

Doesn't have to use clickbank as I have a merchant account

If you're using CC that's fine, but I strongly recommend some sort of vault type of service to reduce PCI Compliance scope (Authorize CIM, Recurly, etc etc).
The aMember checkout with CC sucks balls, we're currently experimenting with putting UltraCart in front of it (using their jQuery self hosted option) and for our future sites we are developing a gateway/CRM neutral light weight membership management system, which seems to be the best option IMHO. If there is enough interest we'll release it for beta sometime down the road.

ultracart is ok, but you still dont have control of your upsell pages.... i think they're hosted inside UC.... which screws things up as far as tracking and whanot... no?

ari, love that you can customize the fcuk out of the UC order page though....

I tried ultracart before.

Right now I use WHMCS but modify it a bit, and use it for the recurring billing - not for access (on another non cb product)

dlguard im using with one of my products on clickbank.
its payment options for clickbank is relatively easy to configure.
support at dlguard is also good.

amember also another good script.

since you're thinking flexibiltiy. i go with amember for your case.

We're doing everything with their JS 2.0 API (jQuery + mootools) and the upsell is done locally - read the docs for more info.
