Hotlanta Affiliate Meetup (24)
Since Ngo decided to travel Asia, the 202Meetup in Atlanta has been quiet. However the reigns are being taken over by Greg Hoffman. I know there are quite a few STM'ers down in the ATL region, so if you're interested in attending the new 202Meetup there check it out here:

As far as I know the location is TBA, but they are thinking of having it on the 27th.
Awesome. Steezy will be there. Been wanting to hook up with some ATL affs for a while and this will force my schedule to cooperate. I look forward to meeting some members of the STM crew.
Yeah I'll be driving down from Spartanburg. I'd start one up here but there's only like 1 other affiliate in the upstate.

Honestly, if we could get enough people in SC to make it worth while, I'd start one up.
ya i remember going to the ngo 202 meetups but seems like there were only 3-4 real affiliates, others really didnt know anything about this game or they were just trying to pick ppls brain about traffic sources and offers etc, with out really putting any info out them selfs. i remember this one older cat maybe in his 50s at every meet he would basically want you to just give him a campaign step by step in dreams of becoming a over night millionaire.
^That's the way a lot of them are. Leeches. But in all honesty some of them were good. It's best to have speakers and something to talk about, otherwise the exact same thing will happen.

I've never been to a meetup like this or even met another affiliate in real life...hopefully some decent networking and not so much DERP.
Unfortunately I won't be able to make it tonight. I'm gonna try and see if he can do this on the weekends from now on. It's a 3 hour drive for me and at 6 I wouldn't be getting home til midnight or so.
We have quite a few people from the GA and SC on the board...it would be cool if we could put together a SE STM meetup.

Is it worth it? Or is there a lot of fluff and people hounding you about your campaigns?
no idea. this is the first one I'm actually serious about going to...I've bailed on a couple based on the herp derp comments above, but I'm really interested in connecting with some people in the business in person. But, like you, I'm not interested in answering questions over and over about what I'm doing exactly. I'd rather chat with people doing similar things as we are here.
I still think it would be a cool idea to do a SE meetup...we can do somewhere between ATL and SC...all kinds of happening places up that stretch of 85....perhaps some time in Jan?
I think I'd be up for doing something like that instead of the Atlanta 202 Meetup. I've been to one before in charlotte and didn't really get anything out of it. Besides it's a 3hr drive for me to ATL not really knowing if it's worth it or not. There are a handful of SE'ers on STM I think a meetup would be good knowing that everyone there is already in the game. So, yeah I don't think I'll be at this tonight - but for sure we should do a STM thing soon
Hey guys, my name is Chris and I'm the new organizer for the Affiliate Summit Atlanta Meetup. The meetup is always scheduled on the last Tuesday of the month due to AffSum trying to keep them consistent. If this becomes an issue, i'll try and see if we can switch to the weekend.
Anyway, the next one is this Tuesday March 27th at El Azteca at 7pm. There's been some pretty great people show up to this Atlanta meet, they just aren't always at the same ones together. chillyh2o and his crew have shown up and hopefully will be coming back to this one.
