Script for Mobile Carrier Lookup

Does anyone use or know of a script that can return the mobile carrier that someone is using after they submit their phone#? I'd like to customize the path according to that info.

its not exact but you can check by isp....you would have to pay for a data service to get that info....and they hit you on a per api call basis most cases....which adds a cost to every click......not to mention the fact that its gonna slow down an already slow system(mobile)

Since mobile carriers allow porting (moving your # from one carrier to another), it would be difficult to ascertain the carrier using just a phone number.

You can also just ask people - and have a drop-down of all the carriers you're targeting (or all the major carriers plus "other")...
