FaceBook Now allows Gambling/Casinos and Diet again
Yes you heard it right... PM me if you want a top notch Bingo offer that converts over $1 epc
On Facebooks ad page:
Today, we're announcing a new version of our Advertising Guidelines that we hope are simpler, better organized and more intuitive. We gave the guidelines a makeover, in part to address the valuable feedback we've received from our users, advertisers, and developers. Although most of the revisions are organizational, we've also made a couple of substantive changes worth noting:
First, we now allow the promotion of offline casinos or other legal gambling establishments provided the ads are appropriately targeted. We continue to prohibit the promotion of online gambling in the U.S, but may allow ads for online gambling and games of skill in other countries with our prior authorization. We also now allow authorized state and national lottery commissions to advertise to users of the appropriate age within the lottery's jurisdiction. In all cases, we expect advertisers to ensure their ads comply with all applicable laws and we will not accept ads for illegal products and services.

"May allow"
Ah...typical FB ambiguity!
We also now allow authorized state and national lottery commissions to advertise to users of the appropriate age within the lottery's jurisdiction.
Ah, there it is...the REAL reason they are suddenly being so benevolent! Get ready for TONS of denied ads because the only reason they are changing their terms is to get their grubby hands on those gov't moneis!

Kevin,
Are you getting it approved?
"we now allow the promotion of
offline casinos or other legal gambling establishments"
The way I understand it is that Bingo is still considered "online gambling"
Maybe I just need to keep trying

I tried setting up a bingo last night for Canada, Denied. I used a slot machine creative and pointed to bingo cabin? Any tips on how to get this approved? I don't want to submit 100 more and have them ban my account for not complyiing. Thanks!

"Gambling ads may only be purchased through a direct sales partnership with Facebook, which requires a monthly minimum spend of $30,000, and may not be purchased through the self-serve ads tool or the Facebook Ads API."

Adapt or fail... Was your account in good standing, what was your approval ratio like? Were the URLs kosher on MyWoT? Could the other advertisers be cloaking? Did you try different images that were your own? How lucky did you feel on the day and what was the weather like?
There could be many reasons why everything was getting disapproved, better to figure out why and then hack away at getting around it.

i hear ya bro.... that account got nuked... we made a new cc, new addy, new everything.... logging in via vps.... couldn't get anything approved... we even tried sending to a surveymonkey page.... nada.
then they nuked the new account as well.
approvals were a bitch... my partner couldn't get shit approved.... then they nuked the whole account..
checked, urls had no issues... we were sending traffic to a presell, then to our free trial site.... so they go to a presell page with a video, small article, banners and a link or 2 in the content.
here's an email we got from fb:
Hi Evan,
Thanks for writing in. I understand you'd like to know why your ads
were disapproved.
With reference to your ads, please note that all statements made
within an ad must be accurate and relevant to all users. Any claim in
the ad copy should be immediately and directly related to the
advertised service. Ads using unsubstantiated claims run contrary to
Facebook's Advertising Guidelines and overall advertising philosophy,
and will not be allowed on our site. Your ads were disapproved because
they make claims about losing weight within a specific period of time.
This cannot be true with all users who see your ad. Please re-word
your ad text and choose less specific verbiage.
Additionally, for future reference, please note that it's important
that your ads include accurate and truthful representations of the
product or service advertised, the disclosure of all relevant
consequences of participating in the advertised offer, as well as the
protection of all user information received as a result of advertising
on Facebook. We require that offers involving the submission of
Personally Identifiable Information disclose on the landing page how
such information will be used and distributed. This disclosure must be
clearly and prominently displayed. If possible, you should include
links to Privacy Policy and or Terms of Use.
