Alriiiighty! After heavy deliberation we have come to an agreement on contest rules!

Platform: Facebook Ads
Budget: $200
Niche: Gaming MMORPG
Networks of Interest EWA, Adsimilis, Motive Interactive, if anyone could recommend any others would be good!
Time-frame: 2 weeks. Deadline 08.18.11
Prize: Winner gets $400 cold hard cash monie$. Runner up gets a free month STM subscription.

How does one enter?
Create your own follow along thread in the "Follow Along Campaigns" section. Use the title "[Name] Facebook Gaming Follow Along Entry". Follow the rules.

How is the winner chosen?
We take into account the effort put in, the transparency, your creativeness, and your response to feedback given in the threads. Use this as an excuse to write a good journal, to document your progress, to ask for advice, then use it to improve your campaign. Have fun with it too!

This contest is not about writing essays or being the most profitable, it's about learning.

@inversion a few I from ewa that are mmorpgs are eden eternal, wizard101, and shaiya. Basically a MMORPG is a PC game where thousands of people can play together at the same time and fight monsters / other people who play the game. But also if your not sure you could try googling the same and see what pops up about it

battle star galactica is an online game, but i don't think any network will allow you to run social traffic to it. (at least not that i've seen)

Think i'll be jumping in this competition haven't done really any type of MMORPG stuff on FB before so should be fun! I think the first initial hurdles will be ad approval and offer selection. And by ad approval I mean with the advertiser not FB. Seems that these MMORPG's since i've last checked have gotten very strict around what creatives/platforms you can use.
