Hey everyone,
Getting this campaign finally launched, will do it from beginning to end and make everything i do 100% transparent and updated here the whole way through.
This offer is with Neverblue, its for Groupon (daily deals), for Singapore only and i'll be running it on Facebook.
- I'll be trying 2 angles
- Angle 1 will be with massages
- I'll be targeting males/females (split tested)
- Ages 23 - 50
- Gives me a target # of 1,637,880 people
- I will not be using any keywords
- The ads will be in english (most of the Singapore population can read and speak english)
Some more background info
Groupon and neverblue pretty much teamed up, and Never blue has all their offers direct. They're decently anal about everything so there's quite a few restrictions and landing pages are a MUST, and groupon themselves have to approve your landing page. It's quite the annoying process, but for a cool offer like Groupon, that can be applied to so many angles, has good branding, advertiser reputation anddd is available in so many international countries (that don't usually have good affiliate offers) then it's worth the process. I've never ran any traffic (or atleast anything big) in asia before, so I'm pretty excited.
Where everything is at right now?
- My landing pages have been submitted for approval
- I'm finishing up gathering images
I'll be submitting my ads tomorrow and hopefully everything is up and running by Monday evening. I'll keep updates here

Yep, I'll be showing all the landing pages. Just let me get them approved (just waiting right now), then I'll post them.
From there I'll prob make a few more and split test them in depending on how this angles performs, otherwise on to angle #2.

No I do not stack, but I am just saying since some of us are banned on facebook. So just wondering if there would be an alternative.
I do not know how many are banned on facebook, so I guess I can only speak for myself.

All my landing pages were not approved:
- They don't allow groupon logo's or a similar look to the groupon page at all, so i'll be trying 2 completely new landing pages, making them now

@jroes57: as a last resort - get a windows vps (remote server/pc) and create a new account with that - new name, new credit card etc. Nothing that links you to your previous account. Its possible they have either flagged your IP or placed a cookie that enabled them to identify when you have created a new account.
I got a simple landing page approved fairly quickly using the Groupon colours straight off their page, no name branding but the colours have the same look and feel - green background and a blue bar across. Will be building a campaign today using a variation of this info here
@jroes like tijn said if you really want an account and you've been banned with previous method you have to put in the effort by creating every 100% brand new using a VPN and google chrome in private mode, and absolutely don't use the same domains you've used in other accounts.
@Gamekeeper Nice! I just submitted 2 new ones, i don't know why my 3rd didn't get approved because it had no logos. Maybe just because it was submitted at the same time with the logo ones.

Still waiting on approval btw, but it hasn't been 24 hours yet.
Stack, just saw you are using C$, you might want to go with S$ since you are targetting Singapore. I dont know if make any different, I just know that is the way we write it here.
Those LP's look solid. I would like to see shot the html/php file looks like with the timer etc.
Also, what kind of domain do you have? something that is related too deals/cheap stuff ?

Landing pages approved, and i just uploaded the ads!
I'm also starting angle 2 in the meantime.
When entering any new niche you have no idea what to expect. Well that's what happened here, complete mashup of confusion. I'll be immediately jumping to angle #2.
Quick info on angle #1 stats:
Landing page 1:
104 clicks
21.6% Landing page CTR
2 conversions
-$36 profit
Landing page 2:
132 clicks
27.9% Landing page CTR
3 conversions
-$41 profit
My initial thoughts/notes:
- Massages aren't enough incentive to get people to fill out leads
- The high landing page CTR from nice looking landing pages with mediocre conversion tactics shows that people in singapore have seen a lot less landing pages then the majority of US/UK/CA/AU etc…
- Ad CTR at the highest was 0.39%

One question Jordan. If you promote that can you deeplink to some sushi related pages of your offer? Is the sushi thing just the angle on facebook to catch their attention and let them click through your lander in the hope they sign up?
I tried the massage angle with a USA daily deals offer, low ctrs. Going to try more angles

Yep no shadow in the images. You could try it, but i don't think it'll make much of a difference.

As far as I am aware you can run Groupon on FB again while using approved landing pages. Check with your AMs at Azoogle and Adsimilus (I don't have any relationship with Neverblue and got the run around there) However, I am looking for LatAm Groupon- does anyone know where I can find these?
