Not a success story - yet. (9)

Not a success story - yet.

I've never been one for posting personal stuff onto Internet forums, but I like it here so I'm going to vent a bit. [Maybe it's because it's a paid forum, but I don't get the impression I'm going to get dickrolled or be given useless non-constructive abuse].

I don't intend this to be a 'follow along' and it's not a success story - yet - but I think it's good to get personal goals out into the open where suitable and possible.

Short term
Pay off immediate debts
My wife is giving birth to our first child in January 2012. We have a couple of credit cards I would like to clear before that happens. This is the goal I'd like to nail asap.

Get some cash in the bank before January 2012
I don't know how much, or if it's possible, as it's going to be a really busy half year getting stuff ready for the baby [new baby classes arghghg!]. My day job salary (without the CC payments) would be OK, but it's a bit of security that would be really nice to have.

Medium term
Move house
My wife is a self employed freelance florist. We won't have enough room in our current house (when the baby gets a bit older) for the kid and my wife's business. We know where we want to live (she even knows which road!). It's quite a jump in price from where we are at the moment, so providing this is next on the list. Having a mortgage is OK... that's covered in a later goal.

Buy a VW camper van [1976 split screen... awesome]
This one's all about open roads, bbqs and fun, fun, fun!

Long term
Clear the mortgage and provide a secure future for my family
This is probably the goal most people aim for. I'll not be around forever, so I want to make sure that when I'm gone my family don't have any financial worries.

'Nice to reach'
I think most people have a very personal goal that sits apart from all the others: a 'nice to reach'. Buying a villa on Ibiza is mine.

My wife and I both love Ibiza... we love the tranquillity, the people, our secret beaches, the food, the music, the sunsets, the list goes on. It's 'our place'. To buy a villa and spend our summers there with our family and some friends would be the icing on the cake.

I'm pretty certain these goals are obtainable. I'm a clever man - I just need to apply some of that 'clever' and get stuck in

Anyone else got any similar goals? Have you ticked some [or all] of yours off your list?

instead of posting this why not post a thread about your current campaigns you tried, your traffic and your stats? if your failing then we can help but not if you dont show us the goods...

I don't know how clever you are, but I doubt you'd be clever enough to locate a '76 VW split screen camper

I have a few similar goals, mainly getting rid of debt, paying off the mortgage and buying an aircooled VW (1500S Notchback for me)

Hang in there dude, those goals are certainly achievable. It's great to have goals to keep you motivated an focused.

One of the first goals I made when I started affiliate marketing was to save enough money to follow my gf who was going to university in Spain for a few months. It made me work like a crazy man, good times!

Good luck to you sir!

Cheers guys.

Yeah, it's great to have a list of stuff you want to achieve.

When I start ticking them off, it'll be awesome
