Credit Reports - Promising Numbers - 750% ROI

First of all, thanks for the $3, it was a nice gift. I'll put them into a frame soon.

I thought i share this here too.

Some weeks ago i got accepted to TV. I'm from Hungary, Europe. So fellow international affiliates, i'm the living example. Yes, it's possible!

Currently i'm trying things out with credit reports, loans etc. and this is the main reason why i write this post.

Started a campaign on 7/01/2011 with street payouts. After some days and some conversions i asked for a paybump, and sent my lander(s) to my AM who contacted with the advertiser. So i can use my landers when it comes to scale things up to higher levels. I'm planning to write a full (with landers, targets etc.) case study about this, after i finished running the campaign (i hope you guys understand that, this is my first profitable campaign in this niche.. sorry.)

So, the numbers:

The Main Campaign

Start Date: 7/01/2011
Targets: 44 (3-4 instant winner with nice ROI, the others are still in the game - testing.)
Type: Landing Page Sequence (2 level deep)

LP level 1 views: ~10k, CTR: avg. around 22% - but i noticed nearly 30% on one of my targets.
LP level 2 CTR: around 48-50%

Started with 8 offers in rotation (4 unique, from 2 networks) I quickly found the best performing ones (same offer from network #2 converted nearly twice as better than from network #1)

Currently i'm in $2k+ revenue with around 750% ROI, so do the math.

Because of the promising numbers (CTR, ROI) i started a similar campaign with the same lp and the same offers (the winning ones) with different targets on 7/06.

CTR and the numbers are lower: CTR: avg. 10%, revenue ~$700, ROI: 114% but i'm still try to optimize this!

Btw, my campaigns are paused currently, because of a little cashflow problem.

Things learned since i'm running this / notes to myself:

- Talk with your AMs about offers, conversion rate, epc on different offers. Helps a lot.
- Split test the same offers from different networks.
- After you find your winner(s), ALWAYS ask for a bump, after x amounts of leads.
- If you're running your campaigns on TV, ctrtard's script (Here: Stop PPV Leaks on Your Landing Pages) is MUST HAVE. I noticed +20-30% ROI after i placed the script on my landers. (if you're using html landers with text, of course) Credit keywords are really hot. You don't want text links from other affilaites on your landers, belive me!
- Test colors, they're really matters. (Hint: blue.)
- Don't kill the campaign after some bad days. Interesting how things can change. One day $50 profit another day $600+
- Chat with fellow affiliates. Like me and maynzie. We are chatting regularly, sharing ideas, tips etc. Great help, thanks man!

Oh, and CPVLab is a must have tool! Seriously. Do you hear me Josh?

So that's all now. Thanks everyone from this forum too, you're great!

Hey bstrd,

congrats on your success! I have done a lot of volume with credit reports and are a very stable niche.

Without seeing your lps , only advice I can give you is ASK FOR BETTER PAYOUTS.

I believe you are running either freescore360/creditreport.com . I

f you are not getting $30-$31 / lead pm me and I'll give you networks that can go that high.

Hey bbrock32,

Thanks! I'm currently on $29-$30. Later this week when i'll restart my camapigns i think i'll ask for bigger payouts! But i'd love to hear about your fav. networks with credit report offers!

Xy7Elite and W4 have both CreditReport.com at $31/lead.

Give them a try

awesome result in a perfect niche!

loving the fact that you are using multi level campaign in cpvlab.

if your angle is not an obvious one you will be able to run this for a long time.

everyone starting out should be very motivated by your result.

without giving away your niche or targets, i think it would help others if you could share some insight in how you came up with your angle, ie the thinking process you went through.

@bbrock32
I'm already with w4 and i love them. Thanks for the Xy7Elite tip, i'll look after them.

@tijn
The fun part is, the original campaign was built for a different niche. I surfed around the web, and i noticed, lot of ppl want to get their credit score BEFORE they'll apply for XY product (the first niche). So why not provide them an OPTIONAL credit report offer before they'll go to the original offer? (Optional is important!) It turned out, the original camapaign is still profitable, but my ROI was skyrocketed since i added an optional credit report offer link.

What do you think about capturing emails / building a list around this niche? I'm currently brainstorming on this, as the second step, after i scaled this campaign as high as i can.

Congrat bstrd, awesome to here your about your success!

Thanks for sharing!

You can ask your AM for early pay, so you dont have to stop your campaigns. Just explain him the situation. EWA got creditreport @ $32 with weekly payments.

Did you build your LP from scratch?
Which hosting are you using?

I'll start with PPV this week, after many fails on FB, so i hope to get some profitable campaigns.
Good luck with scaling up your campaign.

Hell yes.

Test it to see if you can maintain conversion ratio's. Then build an awesome autoresponder around it with some free tips on maintaining credit score. You can sell a bunch of other stuff into y our niche:

* credit cards
* loans
* make money stuff

Thanks, interesting idea!

Nice work! Keep it up and scale! Like the others said, talk to your AM and get faster payments by telling them how you are waiting to scale, just on their payment.

Hahahaha yeah I hear ya man!

Glad to finally read this post!

Hopefully overtrack brings in more cashflow bro talk soon brother!

I know someone who makes an absolute killing off of capturing peoples emails before giving the goods - in a financial niche - (credit reports, etc.)

and he markets pre - paid card offers with his auto responder and makes a killing. Just a heads up, that yes, that idea works, because I have seen it work.

@bstrd
How did you manage to get approved by TV? Any tips/insights? Thanks!

07-24-2011 06:46 AM #16 bstrd ()

Actually i'm working closely with one of my networks, and my AM recommended me, so i got approved instantly! My advice is, push some volume, than ask your AM!

Nordestgaard (Jakob) from this forum asked me the same question, and i gave him the same advice. Some days later he sent me a PM and he was really excited, because he got accepted to TV!

So, do your thing with other sources first, build a solid relationship with your AM, than ask for help.

Just a quick update:

ROI is lower a little bit, but i learnd tons of things from this campaign. Fun fact: yesterday i ALMOST lost my virginity (1k/day)!

Thank you for the motivation, STM members!

07-27-2011 01:36 PM #19 optimex (Member)

At one point I was making 5k - 7k a day with a 200% ROI on LeadImpact promoting Credit Reports. LOL BALLIN $$$$$

Except I wasn't promoting in the most legit way. LOL

07-27-2011 01:53 PM #20 bstrd ()

I see a lot of shady ads nowdays in this niche, but i stick with my approved landers. I don't wanna loose this campaign!

07-27-2011 02:10 PM #21 godspeed (Member)

What kind of TOS/Privacy Policy does the LP need to have?

07-27-2011 02:13 PM #22 Daksneezian (Member)

bstrd - I'm proud of you! Way to apply and scale. Keep it up!

Does a disclaimer need to be put on the landing page or just on the offer page?

Ok i read this whole thread and i have to say congrats for beeing profitable in a highly competitive space. I do wanna ask you what TV means? Youre advertising on TV or it stands for something else! Thank you in advance and good luck raping it to seven figs a month.

09-02-2011 03:30 AM #25 phoenix (Member)

im pretty sure TV in this case means 'TrafficVance' a CPV network. if it is Television TV. would love to know how!?

09-02-2011 03:54 AM #26 dannygb (Member)

Thank for the response. I red again the thread and you're right. Most likely TV and LI stand for Traffic Vance and Lead Impact

09-02-2011 08:43 AM #27 gridhook (AMC Alumnus)

Great thread. Starting a campaign in the same niche with Lead Impact, so let's see how that goes! How did you research your targets? Also, Langos: best food ever. Recently spent a week at the Ozora festival in Hungary, and the Langos stand had amazing conversion rates.

09-02-2011 12:10 PM #28 bstrd ()

Ozora A way of life!

Oh, and CPVLab is a must have tool! Seriously. Do you hear me Josh?
I wish I had of heard you man,

Seriously would be good if you chimed in and updated everyone on your success.

Probably one of the BIGGEST stories to come out of the forums, STM and Affplay combined.

the work ethic, creativity and overall mad dogness of Tamas, he blew up supernova status very quickly and should be an icon for people who don't think your life can change from $0 to insane numbers daily in only a few months time, best of all he is consistent.

Insanity.
