Facebook app dating offer. The results..

Hello,
I ran a dating app offer d/l for South America. (yes, I got it approved).
The payout was $2 for this offer. As you can see by the image the highest ctr was .251 and the lowest cpc was $0.31 Probably good have gotten it lower than that. But it was/is a losing campaign

Facebook sent 100 visitors to the offer and the result was the following:
Revenue: $18
Cost: $43.36
Epc: $0.19
Yes, I perhaps tested it to long

Ad targets 175,240 users
25+ Single men who like women

Yes, I didn't provide the images or ad copy. But with what you've seen so far. Does it look at all promising?

Any feedback would be great!
Brian

Indeed, with those CTR's you should let it run. That's not nearly enough traffic to make a call. One ad got 60 clicks the rest got very little. It may well be that ad did not convert well.

Y9ou should rotate to another network/offer and let it run. Those are good CTR's for dating ads and it should work.

Is it on US traffic? - you will have a lot of choice for offers and in time your click costs will drop as well.

What was your estimated bid for those ads? Generally i start to bid down when i get a good ctr. Usually i can manage good traffic and clicks between .10 - .14 from bidding %60 of the estimated bid with a ctr of .2 or higher.

Thanks for the feedback. The offer is only available on a couple networks and it pays $2. No, it's international traffic. South America.
Thanks for your time,
Brian

South America...aim for .3% CTR - you'll get .5 - .10 c clicks and you'll profit. Countries like Brazil has HUGE volume which will make up for the low EPC's

Did you break up the ages into separate campaigns? 25+ is a pretty broad demo...

@magiklair : your CPC seem to be on the high side.

I think I started at about $1.15 and facebook has gradually lowered the costs when the click through rates were good. But I'll look into lowering the bids.

No, I didn't. I worried more about getting the campaign approved. But can do that should they allow future campaigns with this offer. I'll see if they approve the next couple of campaigns.
