LeadImpact conversion tracking script

Hi all,
just wondering if this is something I have to worry about or not...

I don't think any vendor would agree to put scripts like this on their conversion page so my guess is that I don't have to worry about this unless I run my own offers. Am I on the right track?

Conversion Tracking Script
By placing the Conversion Tracking script tag on all your conversion pages you will be able to see exactly what keywords are converting within your campaigns and landing pages and the cost per conversion for each.
To enable, please place the code on the HTML of your conversion page (or pages if you are running multiple sites).
The script tag needs to be placed before the closing </body> tag.
Example:
<script src="https://cts.zroitracker.com/Conversion.aspx?cpid=XXX"></script>
</body>
</html>

I wouldn't do it, Lead Impact are a bunch of campaign stealing assholes.

The less they know, the better off you are.

pretty much any and every affiliate network will put this on the offer for you.. Some networks have a pixel interface that lets you place your own. Aside from maybe clickbank products (don't promo them so don't really know) I can't imagine that being a problem. Just get with your affiliate manager and send them the pixel.

are you saying it's the same thing as pixel tracking? as far as I can remember pixel tracking is an image with a pixel size of 1x1...

could someone please clarify? conversion tracking script=pixel tracking?

also, "every affiliate network will put this on the offer for you"? if a few thousand affiliates made this same request, the network would put a few thousand scripts on the conversion page?

any help would be appreciated,

pixel tracking being the most common....

and yes every network will place a pixel OR have it as a self serve feature in there tracking platform.....(you add it in yourself)
