Ok folks in a effort to share what I know......here is what just recently happened on one of my accounts
.............
Hi blahdy blah,
Unfortunately, your account has been disabled because our systems have detected suspicious activity associated with a method of payment on file with your account.
Facebook is currently investigating the matter. In order to expedite the investigation, please provide an explanation for the discrepancy between your region and billing address. Additionally, any further information you can provide as to the methods of payment you have been using, your reasons for using them and your advertising campaigns will also be of assistance.
Please note that your full credit card number is not required. Facebook will never ask for your full credit card number via email, nor is it recommended that you send this information with your correspondence.
Thank you for your assistance,
Thaddeus

this was my reply
..........
"Hello I understand the concern....
The card in question is an employee card......maybe this is the issue?
This card was given to me by the business I have a contract with.
How can we resolve this issue?
Thank You
Blahdy blah"

some more info.....
card name on the account matches the cc.....
the only thing that is "off" is the address.......
so facebook is now def checking addresses could be why many of you have lost accounts when using paypal.......as it defines an address when the purchase is made....
I have not received a reply back yet.....when I do I will update this thread....
Hi when you mean address do you mean they cross reference the IP with the credit card/paypal info?
I am guessing that could be a factor....but I believe its more of the location in my facebook account is dif than my cc address
this is not new, this was going on 2 years ago as I received the same email way back when.
when using a proxy to set up an account and then using a card with a different region, this will happen as well.
Yea, they've been RUTHLESS lately. I lost 2-3 accounts already.
We get that everytime we setup a new account usually happens after couple dollars are spent
How much were you spending in that account? My addresses dont match, just wondering if its because your spending a lot or a certain amount to be flagged..
Here is what I can share polarbacon...
If you use a proxy say in Ohio and then sign up to FB with a PVA/CC that list the address as somewhere in Kentucky, you will be able to make the account and get the first $50 funded.
When you hit $250 though or $500 level, ( sometimes not even that, sometimes its just 3-5 days after account is made ) you will almost 80% of the time get this email. It has happened to me right after I got past the $50 a day limit mark or 3-5 days after I create the account.
This has been going on for about 2 years with me. The only way to get around it for me is to create the account in the same state/area as you have your banking info.
^^ Quick tip, use a dial up modem or DSL service where you can get a new fresh IP when you disconnect or get your billing address where you proxy is located.
