Got A Vague Warning Shot From Facebook Last Night
We've noticed that you are currently running Facebook Ads that violate our Advertising Guidelines or Terms of Use.
The content of ads must accurately reflect the product or service advertised. Ads must clearly disclose what actions are required to receive the product or service. The landing page must also explicitly state to what extent a user’s information will be used or distributed.
Please delete any ads that violate these policies within 48 hours to bring your account into compliance with Facebook policies. Continuing to run ads that violate our policies may result in additional action being taken on your account, including possible termination.
The kicker is I didn't even have any ads active at the time. My best guess is that it was because of some ads that said 'Click here to get started for free' in the copy...ads they JUST approved. LOL
thoughts?
herp derp facebook.

Thats how it starts. Good luck bro.
Just grape one last time, or if nothing worth the ban, then just delete all ads.
Lots of people got banned for ads from a year ago that were uncompliant once the ToS got updated.

thanks. I replied to get some clarification...we'll see how that goes. I'm prepared to delete everything and start on a new account since this is on my personal account.

I made a new account following steps here different CC on a different Paypal, BUT the same billing address and I get this (account #2 is essentially banned now, can't do anything with it.):
Ad Manager Error
Our systems have detected unusual payment activity on your account. As a security precaution, the payments functionality on your account has been disabled and all of your ads have been stopped. For more information, please contact us.

Should I try the CC w/o paypal? do you think they're linking active billing addresses together to find dupes since it's paypal and they don't have the cc#?
I reckon I'll just delete all my ads on account #1 since they don't like something i'm running and start fresh later today

I got this same e-mail about 4 months ago. I replied as well, and they said that nothing right now was in violation, but there have been images submitted in the past that were bad, here is their exact reply:
"Thanks for your reply. This email doesn't seem to be in regards to the specific ad you asked about. It seems that this email is referring to the ads in your account that were previously disapproved.
The images you’ve submitted in previous ads aren't appropriate for the content you’re advertising. Facebook does not accept images that are overly explicit or provocative. Please keep in mind that users tend to respond negatively to any image that shows excessive amounts of skin."
and finally one more reply
"Thanks for your reply. I understand your frustration with the situation. In order to ensure that your advertising account doesn't get disabled, I suggest that you only submit images that are more on the conservative side in the future. This may include images of just faces, not bodies, or the logos of the dating sites. Generally, images containing cleavage, or images focused on one specific body part won't be accepted.
Please let me know if you have any further questions.
Thanks for contacting Facebook..."
I held off on submitting 'racy' photos and also kept away from flirt, benaughty, etc. Havne't really had a problem since then, FWIW.
