Mate1.com expressly prohibits affiliate advertising on Facebook, including but not limited to directing users to a Mate1 branded landing page or using “Mate1” or any variation of the Mate1.com brand name.

I found it at the mate1 site under become an affiliate!

So maybe its just when one goes direct rather than through a network?

Dang, imagine running say 30 days worth of traffic to them and wham.

People run them on FB though.

they don't want competition for their internal FB campaigns...live with it. i would do the same.

just a fyi for those that dont know....alot of adverts contract with social agencies like nanagins to run their stuff on fb...part of the contract states they have exclusivity to fb...


this is nothing new its been going on for a while....especially in gaming

They do have a current social version for Facebook. They have another version that is non social with no Facebook too, that would be the one with those type of terms.

Beats me man.

I'd worry if the determine the source of traffic after a month of ending traffic.
I found out on the Mate1 direct affiliate TOS that they don't allow FB (Mate1.com read their TOS )

For all I know it may be that they don't want direct aff traffic from FB and that going through a Network and FB is OK.

Ask them or your network before spending money.
