So I setup a campaign yesterday at trafficjunky but am not getting enough traffic, its getting close to 24 hours now and I have only managed to spend around $18.

I have increased daily budget to $20000 too but thats also not helping. Although am seeing myself as a top bidder when I see bids and it shows that am getting 30% of overall traffic.

Have frequency cap of 3 per day though..

Am I missing something?

It is a combination of your bid not being high enough over the other bidders, there not being enough volume on your placement, and the frequency cap.

what country / placement? look at the inventory man it might have just so much impressions a day on what you bought

am the highest bidder and it does shows am getting 30% impressions. So definitely it could be my placement only. Do you think frequency cap of 3 is small for adult ? I am giving this my first try so dont really know what should I put as frequency cap...any suggestions would be appreciated.

Right, so as I was trying to indicate your bid is not high enough over the other bidders. You can't bid .001 over the next guy and expect a much greater proportion of the traffic. The higher you bid over them, the higher percentage of traffic you will get.

Well sounds like you answered your own question. If you are getting 30% of the traffic and spending $18 in 24 hours, then there simply isn't a lot of traffic to be had on that placement.

go direct-> get cheaper cpms and guaranteed traffic..don't do it until u have a proven campaign ;-)

I don't think TJ does flat rate buys anymore

Bid top 3 places, $20k+ budget, increase freq cap, run more placements, run more sites basically the same as you would any other source
