Whitelabeling Offers (2)

Whitelabeling Offers

I've got a few questions about the process of whitelabeling offers. I've got some ideas for markets that could be capitalized on but aren't currently by anyone, and from what I gather, whitelabeling an already proven back end model is a lot easier and cheaper than creating an offer from scratch. Anyone got any experience doing this?

Let's say we're talking dating, and there are certain niches/markets that are not being catered to, and I want to cater to them.

-What kind of money does it generally take to get going, assuming I or a small group of people will be running traffic directly to the offer (not paying for huge traffic from an affiliate network at least in the beginning). Would it really cost any more than simply testing a new campaign plus some extra design work?

-What kind of time dedication does it usually take to get a good whitelabel offer going?

-Any pitfalls to be weary of? It seems to me that if there's an offer out there with a good back end, and they're willing to do a rev share/whitelabel, there's no downside...maybe cashflow since payments might be slow (net30 etc.)

-Are the risks involved any higher than simply running an offer direct? It seems to me like it's just moving one link up the food (money) chain.

Any and all tips are greatly appreciated! Thanks guys.

Hey man,

I used to do it, I still have the whitelabel sites, just not driving traffic to them anymore.
From my experience the only downside (at least for me), is that it takes 1-2 months to make your money back and only after 2+ months you will see a profit. As I said this was my experience and I haven't done it at a large scale, so maybe others are doing it and doing better with it.
Just to give you an insight from my stats, I was running UK traffic, casual dating site (niched), rev share was 50% , free member to premium member CR was at 3%-4%
Hope that helps.

Regards
Paul
