Making $$$ using Site Scout - [ Need a bunch of Critique & Comments ]

First of all, this is my 4th month join STM, and here the result :

- already got $ x,xxx/day with adult vertical using exoclick
- already got $ x,xxx/day with mainstream dating using Facebook (you all know what will happen if your FB account got bump above $ 750/day daily budget)

And just now..... time to ROCK 'N ROLL using Site Scout RTB, and really need advice from the masters here.

Budget : $500
Goals with that budget : At least find 3 profit campaign & mastering Site Scout
Tools : Mixrank (trial) & WRW (trial) - the last one, thanks to @akrtw1

After a little discuss with AM, they give me a few offer "noob" like me :
- Bingo Cafe UK
- Career Scholarship Guide US
- Jet Bingo AU

So, this is what i do :
- Do some research for that 3 offer using Mixrank & WRW, and then i combined the result
- Create 3 campaign each offer (based on webinar mixrank & site scout), which separate by :
a). RON (each target country)
b). Contextual
c). Demography (only use 1 variable, either sex or age group)
- Total 9 campaign created today with minimum budget $25 for each campaign
- Using banner provided by network/offer itself, combined with what i got from mixrank & WRW
- All of campaign through DL (i will use LP later on, until I get valid data to analyze)
- Waiting my campaign get approved

So, it's time to all of you guys give me useful advice, learn, anything that could open up my mind. Is there something wrong with all of that steps i take?

I'll update this thread even the result is totally loss, BEP, or profit

I'll be watching! I've been messing with sitescout some again this week, I've had success before, but lately it's just not working out. Good luck!

Since my network using PST, now I'll update my campaign.

- Bingo Cafe UK
IMP 4,185 | 5 clicks | Spent $6.34 | 0 conv.

- Career Scholarship Guide US
IMP 9,800 | 10 clicks | Spent $20.5 | 1 conv.

- Jet Bingo AU
IMP 3,900 | 4 clicks | Spent $5.2 | 0 conv.

What I do now, choose the campaign which have much IMP, so in this case, I would take research more deeply for "Career Scholarship Guide US" Campaign, even US bid is quite fancy.

Starting to create my own banner to raise CTR, grouping the sites, and then waiting for the masters here to give me some advice

9 out of 10 times the problem is that you are bidding too low. Increase your bids every 15 minutes until you get traffic. You usually have to bid much higher than you think.

Another issue is that your vertical is not whitelisted. Bingo is a problem. Scholarships can be a problem.

fyi, i've tried bid $15 cpm. maybe the problem is, because i have demography. and btw, how can i know if my vertical wether whitelisted or not? should i ask to SS rep?

Most listings have details on what's allowed (see Pub. Details) which gives you some guidelines on what they allow.

To be honest, most affiliate offers you will have trouble with. If you want to run a specific vertical I'd get in touch with a rep and ask them what the best option would be. If you use good landing pages and creatives that don't look like affiliate offers you can get away with quite a lot.

Turn off demographic targeting and see if you can get traffic.

Demographic bottlenecks traffic like crazy, so you want to turn that off. Same with contextual targeting

Make sure you have banners in multiple sizes, most volume is in the 300x250

yeah, most of my campaign, using either contextual or demographic, even only using 1 variable.

hahaha.. pok ame ame belalang kupu kupu.. lol..

I don't want to think the only traffic source is facebook even they are really gold.. We are affiliate, and we are the one who paid, we can pay any traffic source, why frustated with facebook if there's still another way to get stable $$$$$$?? lol...
