Request some feedback on facebook campaign

Hi STMers,

I started a facebook dating campain the other day. After 2 days I had zero conversions. I was wondering if a few of you facebook experts could share some insight on how to take this campaign from a loser to a winner. Or should the offer be abandoned for a different one.

Offer: edarlings Germany
*Pixel Fires after full completion of personality test for user 50+

This ad targets 122,440 users:¦who live in Germany
¦age 50 and older
¦who are male
¦who are single
¦who speak German
Suggested Bid: $0.41 - 1.39 USD

Test Budget $25 a day

I had roughly 130 clicks to the landing page and 45 click thoughs from landing page to the offer with zero conversions.

STATS

Landing page

I appreciate any tips and help. Hopefully others benefit also.

Thanks,
Mike

Well first off I would say none of your CTRs are very good.

.1 is acceptable, but you probably need to be closer to .2 or .3 to be profitable w/ most offers.

Also, I would also try direct linking or at least split testing your LP against direct linking.

It looks like you might be spending too much on testing, but it's hard to say with only 45 clicks to the actual offer. Do the math and figure out how often you need a conversion to break even based on what you are spending per click. If you spend that more than once, it might be time to move on because the odds are against you.

I know this isn't great feedback, but I had a hard time monetizing DE. I'd recommend trying trying an easier country. Emerging markets... Enough said...

Thanks Thomas. Good advice. You are right some of the ads have a low CTR so I can test and try to get them up. On the bright side the click through from the lander to the offer is about 34% so I'm guessing that is OK.

@starrmikeh - seems like sound advice. I don't want to burn a lot of cash on a country or demo that does not convert. I may try to switch out the offer for one more small test. Even though 45 clicks to the offer is not that many -- still with zero conversions I can't keep that up long.

No problem, you are right you have already sunk a significant amount of money into testing the offer. See if you can get some better converting images and maybe a try a couple different offers. It usually doesn't take that long to see one conversion so it could be a dud.
