$543.20 - My biggest Day in AM So far - thanks STM
Since my last update:
http://stmforum.com/forum/showthread...ay-on-POF!-%29
I have been pushing hard, and managed to hit my biggest day to date $543.20. Profit was about $140.
I know there are many ballers on here doing way better, but this is just to motivate the people that are struggling to even see a $1 profit, like I was just a very short while ago, that this shit works if you follow the tips on here and keep grinding.
Commit to a daily budget your willing to lose and suck it up when shit just doesn't work some days, and trust me there is money to be made

Awesome stuff my man!
Now is the time to work even more, yes you're making good money but the real money is just around the corner. Make sure you focus on creating new campaigns as well just in case it dries up, this KILLS motivation but if you have back ups you can keep the momentum rolling, but all in all fantastic job and we are more then happy to be somewhat part of your progress <3!

Thanks Maynzie, that means a lot from you brother! Your tips have helped a lot.
@impride, yeah POF, I have been focusing on one traffic source since joining STM a few months back, funny thing is I never thought of doing POF until I joined STM. Best $99 a month investment I made in my AM career.

Not to take away from your success, but that profit margin is pretty low. If you can do that well on POF you should try other traffic sources like Facebook where it's easier to get bigger margins. You might find it difficult to scale and sustain profits where that high of spending is required. But, if you have the bankroll then by all means take it where you can get it.

Good work soldier! A decent ROI for POF, hopefully the campaign management isn't too much of a hassle, and the frequent flyer points will come hehe.
I've just started POF as well, looking to hit numbers like yours in the near future!
With that sort of spend you may look at dayparting (Mudfish software, or Tom's management tool) to increase ROI.
Are you running IABs? If not, have you tried them out at least?
One question I hope you don't mind answering: how many offers are you running?

Point taken, I am no master so always happy to hear peoples views. I decided to focus on one source for now. The nightmares I hear about Facebook account banning is a bit of a turn off. I think once I get past the $1k a day spend level, and get better on ROI I am going to spend some time on media buying. Hard, but I need to get away from depending on 1 main network for my traffic.

Hey, cheers, mixture of IAB and small ads. offers, I have about 4, but really 2 of them are making 80% of the income. So always looking at other offers as backups.

Yeah, I got my account banned so I hear you on that. Just letting you know there are greener pastures. If you can do that well w/ one of the more difficult sources then you should give them a shot. Any type of profit is a huge turn around though - so congrats and keep it up!

Cheers man,I must admit I started POF thinking it was actually the easier choice, but I guess your right, things can be a bit easier else where, any other tra ffic sources you recommend as a next step?

Hey wdigital, just came back to this thread to eat my words a bit. POF is treating me better as I learn the system and I think you can get good conversions on there as well. I've been studying it more lately and it appears that FB does have more volume so you can see quicker results... BUT as you mentioned it's such a pain to deal w/ their account management. The people at POF are much nicer!
If you have a facebook account there is no reason not to try it. I don't use facebook personally, but when they banned my ad account they still left the account alive. So, I don't think you need to worry much about losing access to your friends and such. Some people suggest starting a second account to run ads, but you are probably running a greater risk of getting banned by doing that.
Other than FB and POF I haven't tried anything else for dating. Maybe you could do okay w/ a content network and display ads like Google or Bing. I'm yet to try that, but it could make sense to put display ads on sites frequented by singles.
