Crazy Increase In CPC's today

Anyone noticed that the CPC prices increased over 20% overnight?

I don't know if it has to do with H&R block running ads for tax season or they are tinkering with the system?

my CPCs are up about 20% as well and I've noticed my CVR is a bit down.

Are you guys only running US traffic or is this for other countries as well? I've noticed some of my international campaigns are converting poorly today. Not sure if it's just a bad day or because I'm testing out new stuff.

All my ads have dropped and not performing well at all, FB isn't delivering them as CTR is down and cpc is up. And those are international. Hope it gets fixed.

Apparently this issue reside in both domestic and international campaigns.

It seems as this sudden adjustment started right after the superbowl.

My volume isn't being affected at all, my users just aren't converting like they usually do.

Its weird, some camps have super low CTR, some have super high cpc and some are normal but no conversions!

Anyone else launch new campaigns today? Just launched a few new ones and CPCs seem to be much more "normal", but don't have of data yet.

Glad I'm not alone.. Had a camp that was doing 100% + ROI steadily, now breaking even. Running in US.

FB is probably "adjusting" to make sure the next quarterly report for Wall Street looks better. Google always did this on the Adsense side of things. 6-8 weeks before the quarter ended payouts magically went down. Here it is the opposite and they just charge you 20% more. Time to buy FB stock now and sell when the quarterly report comes out.

Running UK traffic today and getting double CPC, half ad CTR, half lander CTR and half CR. Paying more shittier traffic.

I've noticed that the ads are rotating in my sidebar. could be related to ctr drop and cpc increases?

They have been recycling those impressions for a long time. I.e. whole sidebar reloads after a certain amount of time, especially when you click back to the page from another tab or a screen-consuming photo. FB has been trying to get more and more impressions available to ads for a long time, killing performance metrics in order to please brand advertisers. IMO they have only ever made things worse for performance advertisers/affiliates.

^ today and yesterday were the best days I've EVER had... I think your campaigns just aren't performing well anymore. The entire weekend was massively profitable.

I have had similar experience the past few days

Nothing big but better than I have ever had.

CPC wise too? My conversion rates were back up but CPCs still a bit high. They are a little lower than a few days ago though.

It seems to be a lot worse for me now.

Don't know if it is due to pre-valentines that is causing this issue.
