Maxed my CAP: Ok to switch to direct? (7)

Running a dating offer. I hit my cap with the aff network, then I went direct on the same offer. Any chance of problems with this? Thanks

Don't think it's an issue, there's a follow-along going right now where a guy got kicked off an offer via Network A, but Network B gave him a bump for the same traffic. Go figure. I don't think the CPA networks give your name/identity to advertisers (so that they can't contact you directly... CPA networks like protecting themselves too!)

So go direct, shouldn't be an issue. Might be against your CPA network's terms of use though.

If the cap maxed by the network and they can't get you sorted, i don't see any reason why you can't go direct.

Networks never share their affiliate database with the advertiser, doesn't make any sense from a business perspective.

GO DIRECT.

Advertisers sets caps for each network. They put thier eggs in different baskets.
Just because you have exhausted their budget for network, doesn't mean that the advertiser is not enjoying your traffic.

Unfortunately now I have exhausted the direct cap so now I am going back to the aff network at a reduced payout. $.25 less per lead but it is better than stopping traffic or switching to another offer that doesn't convert as well. I did the math and it's about a 10% premium in payout but I think the alternative offers will convert much less so the lower payout is the best decision.

Also, the aff network will be happy I'm sending them revenue so it's a good move from a relationship standpoint as well.

Yea man- I hit my direct and aff network cap yesterday. So I switched to another offer and conversions dropped in half.
