Help, What angle do i take?
I want to promote the movie extra offer from moolah media on ppv.
I know its a mobile offer, but ive tested it on web before and got a nice conversion rate (22-30% from lander to offer, 60-70% on the offer itself)
i calculated that with a CTR of 15-20% on PPV i would be profitable.
I tried targetting certain movie keywords and sites, like james bond and a angle off "Do you want to play in the next 007?" but that tanked horribly with a 2% CTR.
I would really appreciate any hints and insights you guys can give me, i know my lander / offer combination is a winner, i just need traffic!

Use the "Make money as a movie extra" angle.

With an angle like that you should be targeting URLs that actors and actresses are likely to frequent. Stuff like talent agency sites, modeling sites, entertainment job sites, acting related sites, Hollywood industry blogs, etc. On the other hand, by targeting those URLs on ppv you're barely going to get any traffic with your lander/angle so I'm not sure it's even worth your time..... Given that, I'm not so sure I agree with you that your lander/offer is a "winner." If you want real traffic then you need to tweak your angle. Mr Green gave you a pretty good tip on how to expand your angle to hit a broader demographic and you just brushed it off? By targeting movie sites and people who watch James Bond Movies you're basically targeting the average Joe/Jane age 18-75. I don't think being an extra in a movie is enough to convince the average person to fill out your offer..... Add in the idea of monetary compensation, or some other benefit, and you might get better results.....

Promoting "make money by being a movie extra" to the average joe does work. I know first hand.
Making good money doing a few hours work as a casual movie extra is a better pitch than "do you want to act in the next big movie". More people want to make money than becoming an actor.
If I were you I would read up on the biz opp PPV threads. Adapt then destroy. If you get it right it's pretty scalable.

I would caution with the "make money" angle.... the rules for bizop type stuff has changed considerably in US....
FTC is all over this....
be very careful your wording and/or claims....
