When selling something online, I've always been told it's better to go after college grads. This makes sense because, quite simply, they have more money and thus are more likely to buy.
However, I'm not selling something. I'm generating leads for someone else to sell on a dating app on Facebook.
So, my question is, in your experience, is it better to go after college grads for an offer like this or will just anyone do?
I am probably going to try it both ways regardless and see what my results are, but I'd like to hear from some experienced CPA marketers on Facebook on this subject.
Let me know what your data suggests!
College grad or not, still need sex
At first i didnt like this question, but what your talking about is the quality of leads.
At the end of the day advertisers need to make money, and if your promoting any sort of dating the end user needs to PAY $$$ to use a service so the advertiser can make money.
An example scenario:
A) You spend $1000 advertising your dating app to to 18-23 year olds
B) You spend $1000 advertising your dating app to to 24-30 year olds
You are 100% going to have many more 24-30 year olds pulling out their credit cards to pay to use a service.. for reasons like more of them have full time jobs, some 18-23 year olds don't even own CCs.. etc.
So when advertising anything in the dating niche i would recommend advertising 25+ to avoid quality issues with the advertiser.
18-25 year olds still make money though, just keep it as a separate campaign.
Yes.. I always be on 28+ :P.. As I am new.... to get trust and pay bump as well
Yep good point! ^^, can always start even higher to start your relationship off with your advertiser on a great note
