Is Facebook putting the "axe" on diet/fitness stuff?
I've been spending $2,000+ per day on Facebook for the last year or so, and just in the last 3-4 weeks I can't seem to get any ads approved for our fitness product.
Im wondering if anyone else is seeing this? I have a feeling they are trying to get rid of fitness/diet ads.

I tried too about a month or so ago and was having a real hard time getting things approved so had to end up moving on.

your copy and images have alot to do with it....
saying "loose 10 pounds in 10 days" and other stuff like that....is just asking for trouble.....also you may want to check to see if your domain/tracker/redirect is now blacklisted as that seems to be popular these days....which they wont tell you outright.....you would have to ask your rep...
image wise any fitness type stuff seems to be a bitch......

"I lost 35 pounds, can't you tell from my non-revealing, loose fitting clothes that hide all definition?"

Thanks man. Yeh I still havent been able to get a rep. We spend on avg. 50,000-90,000 per month, but they still arent much help.

what you want to do.....is get a agency/biz account
I made a thread
http://stmforum.com/forum/showthread...acebook+agency
you may want to apply as a "direct advertiser"....or a "brand"......
they will call you.....and set u up with an rep and an account.....run what you want to do by the rep when he calls you.......the beat them with a stick when they disapprove stuff......you will be able to get active feedback this way......
eventually you will get a system down in which you can get stuff approved.....its wont be easy and you may have to change your copy.....but generally fb will work with you if you spend.....
it really all comes down to your product......if it has user value....there will be no issue........if its a free trial re-bill....that aint gonna fly........speak to them work with them.......you might be surprised.....

If FB doesn't like your product, they don't care at all about how much you're spending. For example, they've banned all toolbar ads, even though they were getting millions in spend from these advertisers. As long as there's brand advertisers willing to throw money blindly at Facebook, that's the way it's gonna be...

not true you can still do toolbars on a case by case basis.....
It all depends on what the toolbar is gonna do.....

Hmmm. That's news to me! I guess I'm not familiar with any toolbars "benign" enough for them to let run...
