HasOffers vs Cake

Hey Stackers!
As ClickDealer continues to grow, we keep developing and improving our services. Therefore we want to make a poll among affiliates that are registered on various networks and know the pros and cons of different platforms.
ClickDealer is currently running on HasOffers and is one step away from switching to Cake.
We'd really appreciate affiliate insight on both of these platforms and which one you like best.
P.S. we are not planning to create a custom platform just yet

Thanks for your thoughts

Thanks for the feedback, bunchie. What makes you think Cake's better? Any particular features you benefit of as an affiliate?

Most of the major and big-time affiliate networks have moved onto Cake. Call up their team and run through the demo and see for yourself the difference.

Alice, i tried cake, hasoffers, linktrust and directtrack all before.

For hasoffers, it is easy to use. The pain is for some countries, the redirection time is slow. For example, in thailand mobile, we test same offer on hasoffers and directtrack, directtrack has CR about 16-20%, but hasoffers has only 10-13%.

Since I know you guys do some mobile as well, for mobile, the redirection time is very very important. Directrack is using akamai, it is cool, but akamai can not solve the redirection problem well as well. Hasoffers is using Amazon, for some countries, it will not work such as China and Thailand.

For Cake and linktrust, I used them before when I was on web. They are both good for web I believe. For mobile, not that sure. But their price is good. Directtrack is expensive.

Now we are developing our own, you should make your own when you grow big since you can not control 3rd party service. What we are doing now is we are placing servers in every country we have campaigns in.

Hope this help.

Hi Jeff, thanks for your suggestion. We have started negotiating with cake a while back and are planning to switch to their platform soon while we work on developing our own. But when I imagine transferring all network data to a whole new platform, makes me wonder if it's even worth it and if cake really is that much better J

Hi Darcy, really appreciate your insight since quite a large share of our offers are mobile indeed. Will consider linktrust and directtrack as well.
Thanks again and have a good one!

Thanks for your feedback, doryphoros

From an affiliate's standpoint. Never seen the other side of it.
