Traffic source Hi5's and Nightmare stories (4)
Traffic sources are usually all individually run, so some can be amazing to work with, and some can be complete nightmares. Usually the owners havnt bought traffic themselves so they don't know how to make their service a great experience for the buyer.
I love when traffic sources never ask for payments. Right now i owe 1 source mid $xx,xxx for almost a year now, and haven't heard a word from them. You'd think they would have a better accounting system. I may surprise pay them in the new year since i plan on working with them again.
On the other hand I've had 1 source asking me for low $xx,xxx for over 2 years now every month that i paid way back.
Have any wild or mild stories?
What's the traffic source that doesn't like to be paid?

I know TJ is notorious for inflating actual payments owed.
My first ever nightmare is got scammed by a so called traffic network - IA Media. http://iamedia-hk.com
They do not have any system and their website is like a clown. But I was too desperate for traffic and sent them $3.5k. The rep - Simon Due (http://www.linkedin.com/pub/simon-d/44/80/245), took my deposit and vanished. FML.
They told me they have office in Hong Kong and I tried calling the number but it's a fake number. I bet the address is fake too. Wonder how these people can just scam like that...
