OK, i run a campaign with all categories turned on. Spent some money, now i know which site ids perform well. Usually these sites with very low traffic volume. Most of the sites with high volume don't bring any conversions at all.
How much money do you spend before you stop testing and decide where do you want to run the offer the rest of the time?
So, what is the next step here.
Should i email the rep and say i want to run this campegn on such and such site ids or you say where you don't wanna run the campaign? How does it generally work?
Thanks
You can either run whitelist or blacklist campaigns. If you whitelist your converting siteIDs the traffic will be sent to these only.
If you blacklist your non converting siteIDs they will be excluded from your campaign, and the traffic will continue like before.
Other sites and pubs may take the place to those you excluded, so you can seek out new placements in addition to those you already have.
I think you should run a blacklist campaign. you said that your performing sites are low traffic, so you need to find more sites and placements.
In my experience when doing whitelist campaigns on jumptap, the traffic kind of dries up if I don't up my bids. Anybody else seeing this?
ok, if you run a black list, how often can you update it with your rep? Or how often your Rep is willing to update it?
Do you just run the list in excel file and send it to them?
I guess it depends on how much you're spending. I usually have my stuff done within a few hours. Often right away, and you can put in several requests.
Blocking or whitelisting some sites is done in a few seconds on their end, so you can put it on the subject line for faster response.
And putting the IDs directly in the email is fine
