A Beginner's Dilemma

So I went through the beginners guide and narrowed down on PPV to begin with. Got my account with LI and funded it with the initial $200.

The newbie guide advises to begin with email/zip submit offers - I wanted to know if this is apt, because email/zip submits aren't very popular from a couple of posts I am going through here, as a long term strategy.

Also, I have chosen PPV to begin with no doubt but I am still unsure - would want to know what others feel. Or what would they recommend as a starting point? The guide instructs to begin with either FB or PPV but I frankly chose PPV rather instinctively.

Any inputs?

email submits are suggested as they help
you with getting versed up with the system as you can try alot of different niches in a simple environment, without spending huge chunks of money..even a simple conversion will boost your confidence and make you go harder and harder forward with follow alongs from where we can pick you up..all the best !!

Yes start with email submits, You won't get profitable and if you got profitable it won't last more than few days to be honest. The idea of running email submits is to learn all the tips and tricks that you should use in your landing pages like calling out the city, Country, countdown timers and Animation. once you feel you're getting really good with the process move and don't look back again to submits.

yeah thats spot on, email submits are a testing ground of what can work on your landers. Depending on your budget, diet/skin/bizopp/insurance/credit/short fom submits are the best for lead impact,

Why not install the adware on a VM install on your computer and spy on what everyone else is doing too, this will give you a good idea of whats working.

This. I cannot stress enough how much time / money / stress you will save from spying when you are starting out. Step 1 for me when starting on any new traffic source is to look at what offers are running and how they are being run. It's your market research.

Hey Richard - Thanks for this tip man. You are probably right - spying in case of PPV is a definite crucial first step to complete the market research cycle. However, how do I view offers directed at the US if I am not from the US?

I know there is a proxy involved but are there any specific steps to view LI popups for a particular country?

Use something like Overplay or HideMyAss. Indispensable tools that everyone uses for testing links and georedirection, spying etc.
