Hi all,
Well....today I did it, I walked into my bosses office & dropped off my letter of resignation!
I've been around here doing this affiliate stuff since May and it's finally got to a point where its paying off!
All of the blood sweat and tears is finally worth something! Working stupid hours, numerous failed tests & plenty of money spent - I finally reached my goal of self employed!
I'm not going to disclose how much I've earned but I just wanted to give the new guys a little motivation! If I can do it, you sure as hell can! I remember reading kokofai's thread and getting a spurt of motivation to go kick some ass!
I made a fair few mistakes on the way & here are some of my major pointers -
Print this onto your wall: "Do the work others aren't prepared to do and receive the things other will never have." This quote made the campaign's what they are today - so many people settle for 2nd, 3rd, 4th place. Never give up testing & if you have an idea that sounds like hard work, follow that fker through because your more likely going to be casting your line deep & its the only way to catch that big fish (Thanks Mr Green 
).
Next thing would be to focus on 1 traffic source & 1 offer, try every angle possible! We are all guilty of trying 5 different ideas at once for none of them to work because they lack dedicated testing! Once you have a winner - Scale that sucka!
Another important point - Sort your damn taxes! I made this mistake & I luckily landed on my feet with no fine but it could have quite easily been the other way around.
Finally I'd like to thank everyone on this forum as it's a great resource and without it I'd still be crying over my SERP slap from the last Panda update!

I'm in the same situation with the resignation letter, I'll stop at the end of February. But contrary to you, I have until then to actually learn AM (but I have another source of income)

Well....Today was my last day and I'm all set for ripping up vegas now!
As cheesy as it sounds, this is pretty much how I felt on the drive home...that feeling of fuckkkkk, I've actually done it lol.
Now to show 2013 who is boss!
