Why Is Facebook Doing This? (16)

Why Is Facebook Doing This?

I have several campaigns in an international country. 30 creatives in each one and the suggested bid is .08-.14. I am bidding 20 cents, but nothing is receiving more then a 100 impressions?

Any idea what the deal is?

what is your daily spend? On that camp and what is the reach?

290k in the reach
10k daily budget
350 account spend limit

Make sure each ad is set at a diff bid, even a penny apart. Pause/resume your ads in 30 mins, and even try re-creating the same ads to get the fresh instant traffic.

Im not getting any fresh instant traffic. Ive tried different bids and will be trying pausing/resuming.

What country are you targeting? Is it INTL?

Very weird, never had that issue.

I can tell you facebook takes 20 minutes after unpausing to get going... same with pausing 20 minutes to stop traffic.

Yes its intl, the country is hungary. When an ad starts to get traffic, I can do at least 1-2k clicks a day. But the problem is getting that inital burst.

Try to get a couple accounts going with them and duplicate your campaigns over onto the accounts - it'll help bring more traffic in.

Jroes i've had your exact problem before, there really is not perfect answer. It's just a FB glitch, call too common when you use FB 5+ hours a day
It's not your bids if your 10cents over suggested bid

Try the following things, some will work, some won't.
- Adjust your daily spend for the campaign to diff prices near your daily account budget limit (instead of 10k)
- Try pausing your campaign for 30 min, then restarting it (try this multiple times throughout the day)
- Try pausing separate ads for 30 min
- Finally try pausing 3/4 of your bad ads individually, then pause your whole campaign. Then restart the campaign 30min later, but keep the 3/4 ads paused.

I know this all sounds wacko, but this is what i find will get the ads rolling again (and this happens more in intl countries)

Okay so stack, i should go back to the approach and bid 20% lowest suggested and try those things?

In order to fix the problem you need to only run 10-12 ads at a time if you have a large batch of ads in the campaign at least that is what's working for me!

Cool thanks for reporting back with your solution...

The problem you mentioned happens with a lot of INTL campaigns, and then for US campaign its near impossible to get all your ads to receive impressions. (screwed however you do it, but the INTL traffic seems to flow way more evenly)
