Split Test Case Study: See what got better results

Ok, since I got so many thanks on my first guide, here is another

This is a split test case study that JUST finished being tested. Results are fresh, and guess what, YOU were a part of it

Take a look at this thread:

http://stmforum.com/forum/showthread...g-Page-Buttons

Did you see the "last edited" time on there? In fact, that post was edited 4 times

So what is the split test, you ask, and how did I take part?

The purpose of the split test was to see what "Call to Action" would get me the most thanks

For the first 40 views, I had this as the last line, as the call to action:

1) "Send me some thanks so I can beat the other mods and post more tutorials . PPC tutorials are being worked on as well "

For the next 40 views I had this:

2) "Click the thanks button so I know you like it and want more tutorials. PPC tutorials are being worked on as well."

Then the next 40:

3) "If you liked this, click the thanks button and I will make more guides. PPC tutorials are being worked on as well."

Then after that 40 I found my winner and re-edited it back.

Case Study Results:

First call to action: 40 views, 8 thanks

Second call to action: 40 views, 0 thanks

Third call to action: 40 views, 2 thanks

After putting it back to the winning call to action, it (as of now) got: 60 more views, 10 more thanks.

So, thanks for being part of my split test

AND

Send me some thanks so I can beat the other mods and post more tutorials . PPC tutorials are being worked on as well

Lol thanks. The lesson is:

Split test everything! That is the reason I found success online. I didn't assume and just split tested my way to profitability.

Even something super small can completely impact your campaign.
