If sites integrated adblocks like they did the "like" button then this could be very cool.

I actually get really good customer service from my Facebook reps. It's all a matter of how you approach them. I literally speak with them on the phone.

I think this would be actually amazing. I think FB has been planning something like this for a while. Their database of personal info + FBconnect + show ads on third party sites = amazing.

There is a lot for FB to do for Atlas to be useble like they want, but it would make sense buying it rather then developing themselves.

As early as next week it may launch.

Uptake may be slow, but likely to be incentivised heavily by FB (e.g. 100% revenue goes to publishers for first month). I wonder what's in it for advertisers? Maybe nice targeting options, or a discount on clicks for expanding to the new network :-)

Could be some good money made in the first few weeks... saving an account or two just for this one.

I believe one of the main benefits (and things FB has to leverage) will be the carrying over of Facebook's rich demographic targeting to that platform, in some form or another.
